Itinerario

Fascinating history combined with stunning views. Our guide was very informative. The tour was very well managed and efficient. We were fortunate to catch a perfect weather day but it would be well worth it on an overcast day.
This was a compact tour up to Eagle’s Nest, with a very knowledgeable guide (Johannes), who made sure I (as a disabled person) was fine at every point. The tour was as advertised and I have no complaints, but I wish there was one that was slightly longer to take in the museum. We stopped for lunch on the way back; the apple strudel was delicious!
Very interesting with beautiful scenery. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Would recommend………..
Mitch was a great guide - knowledgeable, friendly, humorous. The Little Dragon is a very good driver. The Eagle's Nest has a dark past but is now an excellent spot to look out at the Bavarian Alps, small villages & a lake. Berchtesgaden is a lovely place to stop for lunch.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your Eagle’s Nest and Berchtesgaden tour with us. It’s wonderful to hear your kind words about Mitch and Little Dragan – a great guide and a skilled driver make all the difference, especially on those mountain roads! The Eagle’s Nest is certainly a place where fascinating history meets breathtaking Alpine scenery, and we’re glad you also enjoyed your time in beautiful Berchtesgaden. Thank you for choosing Panorama Tours, and we hope to welcome you back again!
We did the sound of music tour with Panorama the day before, and it was so well organised we were so glad to see we were booked with them again for the Eagles Nest and Berchtesgaden. We had Mitch as our guide today (same guide as sound of music tour) and we were delighted as he was a font of knowledge and an excellent guide. He really made us laugh and smile so many times over the 2 tours. Little Dragon was our driver and he kept us all safe on those very bendy roads. Eagles Nest was amazing. It was a bucket list visit for my husband who is a big follower of anything WW2 related. We had a very clear day, with little clouds. It was beautiful up there. Very well run. I would have liked more time at the bottom to visit the museum and same for our stop to Berchtesgaden, but this was a tour and we knew in advance of agenda and timings, so not a complaint. If anything, it has made us want to return to Salzburg again to explore more. Highly recommend this tour. What an amazing few days we have had.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful and detailed review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed both your Sound of Music Tour and your Eagle’s Nest & Berchtesgaden Tour with Panorama Tours. It’s fantastic to hear that Mitch made both experiences so enjoyable with his knowledge, humour, and enthusiasm. We’ll also be sure to pass your kind words on to Little Dragon – especially the appreciation for keeping everyone safe on those winding mountain roads! We’re very happy that the Eagle’s Nest lived up to your husband’s bucket-list expectations, and it sounds like you were lucky with some beautiful weather and spectacular views. Most of all, we love hearing that your time with us has made you want to return to Salzburg and explore even more. Thank you for choosing Panorama Tours twice during your visit and for your lovely recommendation. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Beautiful and worth the time and $ to see and experience the alps from eagles nest and then bertchgaden for lunch.
Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so happy to hear that you enjoyed the breathtaking Alpine scenery from the Eagle’s Nest and your time in beautiful Berchtesgaden. It really is a special combination of spectacular views, history, and Bavarian charm. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back on another Panorama Tours experience soon!
It is exciting to go see eagles nest and our guide was great. But the value was poor. After an hour on buses or more we walked through 3 toons and the main objective was to walk to the top of a little hill and see the views. We spent time reading all the photo displays and history and then barely had time to walk up and see the surroundings. Then the bus takes you to a small Austrian village to basically burn time while you look for something to do: shopping (?) or coffee. This was a waste of time in order to make the tour seem worth the money and length of time. Really disappointed and would never have gone if we had known. We haven’t ever had a disappointing tour with Viator or felt ripped off but this one did it.
A fun and informative tour with history coming alive - Jose’s experience and captivating presentation really helped our tour understand the role Berchtesgaden and Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest played during WWII. A nice mix of learning, walking through the Eagle’s Nest, and sharing lunch afterwards.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you found the tour both fun and informative. It’s especially great to know that Jose’s experience and engaging presentation helped bring the history of Berchtesgaden and the Eagle’s Nest to life. We’ll be very happy to pass your kind words on to Jose. Thank you for joining us, and we hope to welcome you on another Panorama Tours experience in the future!
Great informative tour which met all of my expectations. The guide was clear concise and personable.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We are delighted that the tour met all your expectations and that you found our guide knowledgeable, clear, and personable. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you on another tour soon!
