Quinta Stazione del Monte Fuji A 2300 metri sopra il livello del mare, offre una vista imponente dell'area sottostante dei Cinque Laghi Fuji, rendendolo un luogo popolare anche per coloro che non sono intenzionati a scalare la montagna. Un punto di osservazione con vista ininterrotta sulla città di Fujiyoshida e sul lago Yamanaka si trova presso il Santuario di Komitake, dietro i negozi.
Oshino Hakkai è un insieme turistico di otto stagni a Oshino, un piccolo villaggio nella regione dei Cinque Laghi Fuji, situato tra il Lago Kawaguchiko e il Lago Yamanakako sul sito di un precedente sesto lago che si prosciugò diverse centinaia di anni fa. Gli otto stagni sono alimentati dallo scioglimento della neve proveniente dalle pendici del vicino Monte Fuji, che filtra lungo la montagna attraverso strati porosi di lava per oltre 80 anni, producendo acqua sorgiva molto limpida, venerata dalla gente del posto.
In passato, il Santuario Kithaguchi Hongu era il punto di partenza comune per scalare il Monte Fuji da nord. Il Santuario Fujiyoshida Sengen si trova in una fitta foresta ed è separato dalla strada da un lungo accesso fiancheggiato da lanterne di pietra e ombreggiato da alti alberi di cedro. Gli edifici dipinti di rosso del santuario comprendono una sala principale risalente al 1615, un palco per la danza e alcuni edifici ausiliari.
Il Santuario Arakura Fuji Sengen fu fondato nel 705 ai piedi del Monte Fuji. Consacra il dio dell'area della provincia di Kai (attuale prefettura di Yamanashi). All'interno del santuario ci sono 650 alberi di ciliegio che fioriscono ogni primavera. Visita il parco situato nel santuario per una vista mozzafiato del Monte Fuji e del goju no alla pagoda Churito a cinque piani. In primavera puoi vedere il Monte Fuji e la fioritura dei ciliegi in un unico colpo d'occhio.
Lago Kawaguchiko. Dalle rive settentrionali del lago si possono ammirare le migliori viste del Monte Fuji. Tra la vasta gamma di altre attrazioni turistiche disponibili intorno al Lago Kawaguchiko.
Il parco Oishi si trova sulla sponda settentrionale del lago Kawaguchiko. Un parco con una splendida vista sul lago e sul Monte Fuji allo stesso tempo. Sul lungolago sbocciano fiori diversi a seconda della stagione. Il parco è anche famoso per i suoi coni di carbone (gelato) e la piccola replica del Monte Fuji composta da 256 rocce vulcaniche.
La grotta del vento Fuji Fugaku è circondata dall'abbondante verde della foresta di Aokigahara Jukai. Una volta entrati nella grotta, il clima è piacevolmente fresco anche d'estate, con una temperatura media di 3℃. Nel percorso si possono vedere piattaforme di lava, lava simile a corde e colonne di ghiaccio che non si sciolgono nemmeno d'estate.

Imran was absolutely amazing! He took us around to the best spots. Even though we didn’t get to see Mt. Fuji he still made sure we enjoyed ourselves and fit in all the unique places. We travel extensively, searching for memorable excursions wherever we are visiting, so we booked an itinerary with “Viator” to visit Mt Fugi. Our tour guide “Imran” showed up a few minutes early, in a luxury, spacious vehicle, and greeted us by name with an outgoing, friendly attitude. It was cold outside, so he immediately made sure we were comfortable, for the drive to Mt Fuji area. We were escorted to several locations, off the normal tourist bus routes, that were not crowded and stunning viewpoints. He articulated as we drove, regarding Japanese culture, traditions and locations as we passed, answering any questions we had. Imran spoke both Japanese and English, communicating with us and the local individuals, guiding us on menu selections (at a personal, favorite “ramen” restaurant), and explaining signage as we toured. We had a wonderful day, truly an amazing experience, with Imran and his sense of adventure !!!

Komori (driver) and Imran (guide) make this perhaps the best tour we have ever completed. They are knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, and great with any group (family, LGBT, etc.). Along the tour, they talk about the area, answer questions, and turn unhappy kids into smiles and giggles. Worth the investment and ad hoc conversation entertainment. We did a Mt. Fuji tour with Imran. It was absolutely perfect. Imran had a great car, new the area very well and took us to so many stop I can hardly remember all of the. He was kind, patient and very informative. He went above and beyond what a normal guide would ever do. I can’t recommend this company and Imran enough. Taka is very amazing! He went beyond our expectations! We had a rainy day in mt. fuji, and he managed to provide us with a great tour. He showed us All the good spots for ice cream, coffee and sweets! He also took us to a sightseeing cruse. 10 out of 10 with Taka.. Arigato, Taka!
Moon made our last day in Japan so memorable. The private car to Mt Fuji was clean, relaxing and comfortable. We stopped at so many amazing places and he made accommodations to what our preferences were. He gave us great insights into Japanese life/culture that we would have never received from touring on our own. The tour was worth every penny. I would 100% do other tours he offered! Amazing! Taka was wonderful and we got to see everything we wanted. The drive out of central Tokyo took about 2.5 hours but well worry it. Highly recommend.
