In questo tour di 6-7 ore visita la Cattedrale madre di Echmiadzin (dall'esterno), la cattedrale principale della Chiesa apostolica armena ed è la prima cattedrale cristiana al mondo. È elencato tra i siti del patrimonio mondiale dell'Unesco. Vedi anche la chiesa di St. Gayane e St. Hripsime che sono tra le tre chiese di Echmiadzin dedicate alle donne martiri cristiane fuggite da Roma con la loro badessa Gayane. Entrambi sono elencati tra i siti del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. L'ultima tappa è Zvartnots, il tempio medievale di San Gregorio costruito nel VII secolo. Era uno degli edifici più alti del tempo (45-49 m). Oggi le rovine del tempio sono visibili a Zvartnots. È elencato tra i siti del patrimonio mondiale dell'Unesco. Visiti il complesso scultoreo commemorativo di Sardarapat e i musei etnografici e militari.

Questo complesso scultoreo commemorativo è stato costruito nella soleggiata valle dell'Ararat. Per allegorie rappresenta la battaglia armeno-turca nel 1918 e glorifica la brillante vittoria del popolo armeno. Vicino all'ingresso del complesso ci sono due enormi tori alati che simboleggiano la persistenza della nazione armena e il vicolo circondato da cinque aquile conduce al museo etnografico con una ricca mostra di cultura, commercio e artigianato armeni.

We spent an interesting morning accompanied by our driver Gregory and with Mariana our guide. We went through much of the history of Christianity in Armenia with good explanations and knowing beautiful buildings.

Today is my first day in Yerevan, Armenia with a lovely guide tour, Meline and cool driver, Artur. We went to Voskeni wine, I really love Rose wine here (actually the best ever) and then we had a nice Gata class making in the restaurant closed to Maternal catheter which is delicious as well the lunch. After lunch, we were visited the churches all around and then back to hotel. So, thank you Meline, Artur and Hyur tour.

I was on a private tour with guide Tamara and driver Arthur to Sardarapat and Zvartnots on the first day and with Tamara and Vache to Gjumri on the second day. The weather was just perfect and Tamara did a terrific job in showing me around and telling me all about the history of Armenia and the places we visited! Our drivers were very polite and took us safely to our drop off and pick up points, we even stopped several times to take pictures on the way. Tamara made sure I felt completely comfortable and never rushed me so I could take as many pictures as I liked! I can strongly recommend to book your tours with a guide and driver from Hyur tours - I have done many trips with them and was never disappointed!

There were two tours. With guide Anna and Rose. Both are great. Unusual, interesting storytelling. The drivers are both great, too.

Took a private tour with Elizabeth (guide) and Gregory (driver) to visit multiple historic sites on the way to lake saven. Elizabeth was excellent- explained all the cultural and historic contexts and made the trip the best day of our week in Armenia
