Nella traduzione dal vecchio armeno (grabar) "tatev" significa "dare le ali". Infatti, situato ad una grande altezza, sembra che Tatev si stenda verso il cielo.
The Wings of Tatev è la funivia più lunga del mondo (5,7 km), il complesso è diventato uno dei luoghi più visitati in Armenia. È stato inaugurato nell'ottobre 2010 ed è incluso nel Guinness World Records come "la più lunga funivia a doppio binario non-stop del mondo".

I went to the subject tour with my teen daughter and other younger one, our tour guide Arman was very informative and friendly, he provided us with many interesting information about Armenia and it’s history in a very interesting way, and the driver Armen was very polite and gentle, his driving was safe and both of them were very helpful. Me and my kids enjoyed the tour a lot and I definitely recommend it👍🏼
