Il tour inizia nel bellissimo giardino barocco del Palazzo Mirabell.
Poi diamo un'occhiata alla casa di Mozart.
Raggiungiamo il centro storico attraverso il fiume Salzach. I passaggi delle case medievali portano a Getreidegasse con i suoi tradizionali segni di corporazione e numerosi negozi. Lì ci fermiamo davanti alla casa natale di Mozart.
Proprio accanto, un cortile ad arcate conduce al Grünmarkt e alla Kollegienkirche, la prima chiesa costruita in epoca barocca austriaca.
Dopo uno sguardo al municipio, arriviamo all'Alter Markt con il caffè preferito di Mozart, i negozi di balli di Mozart e i negozi di lusso.
Proprio accanto ad essa inizia la cosiddetta città principesca. Alla Residenzplatz vediamo la vecchia e la nuova Residenz e al centro la più grande fontana barocca fuori d'Italia.
Dopo una breve deviazione verso Mozartplatz ci troviamo di fronte al monumentale Duomo di Salisburgo, la più grande e antica chiesa barocca a nord delle Alpi.
Il tour termina a Kapitelplatz. C'è l'Abbazia di San Pietro, il più antico monastero del mondo di lingua tedesca e la culla del cristianesimo in Austria. Il clou assoluto qui è la vista della Fortezza Hohensalzburg, il simbolo di Salisburgo.

Florian was very knowledgeable and personable. He included all the locations used in the Sound of Music with additional background information regarding the movie especially important to my wife in addition to providing excellent historical information about the city..
An excellent overview of the city. Very knowledgeable guide. Covered a lot on the two hours but in a relaxed way.
We had a fabulous tour. Florian is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. He kept us laughing and made the history of Salzburg very enjoyable. Florian showed us the Sound of Music filming locations and we took many photos.he showed us the birthplace and residence of Mozart and was very entertaining when you looked around at all the souvenirs. He explained the history of the churches, fortress and city buildings. When something was under renovation, Florian had photos. A well thought out, thorough tour that was also entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour.
