We booked two separate private tours with him, and they were hands-down the highlights of our entire trip! ​Our first day took us on a rugged Jeep adventure to Nordeste. Eduardo brought us deep into the jungle, right to the mountain peaks for stunning views, and through some gorgeous parks. He was incredibly easy to talk to, highly knowledgeable, and let us explore completely at our own pace. ​For our second trip, we set out to see Lagoa do Fogo and Sete Cidades. Even though the morning started out with very fresh temperatures, Eduardo expertly tailored our itinerary around the weather to ensure we got the absolute best views and experience. Because of his local expertise and thoughtfulness, it turned into an absolutely perfect day. ​We had the time of our lives on both tours and couldn't have asked for a more wonderful guide. Mariano was an outstanding guide and a knowledgeable local that went the extra mile (literally). We did not follow the beaten track and took a very unique and different tour than we could've imagined. His shortcuts and his catering to our interests was best in class. Thank you, Mariano!

We had a lovely and relaxing day exploring Sete Cidades, located on the western side of São Miguel Island. The views of the famous iconic Twin Lakes were beauty. We enjoyed a delicious traditional Portuguese lunch. We highly recommend spending your time exploring with Eduardo!

We planned a private tour with 2 jeeps for 8 people to explore Sete Cidades and go off beaten road and small hike around the crater. The tour from beginning to end was exceptional with our two guides Rodrigo and Ricardo sharing with us a wealth of knowledge. They spoke perfect English and had so much experience to accompany us on this tour stopping at best viewpoints along the way. We did a great 1 hour hike around the crater with beautiful views and stopped in the small town for lunch. Definitely recommend this tour and if you can get these guides it will be a bonus.

We had an unforgettable Full Day Jeep Tour of Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo with kayaking, and Antonio Garalho was our incredible guide. Antonio went above and beyond—he not only took us to the main highlights of the tour but also led us to hidden gems and scenic viewpoints we wouldn’t have found on our own. We explored breathtaking mountain peaks overlooking the iconic blue and green lakes, as well as the stunning Lagoa do Fogo. His deep knowledge of the island’s history and culture—both past and present—added so much to the experience. He was friendly, personable, and a joy to be around. There was so much packed into the day, and Antonio, along with his team at Greenzone Azores Tours, made it truly unforgettable. If you’re planning to book a tour in the Azores, definitely ask for Antonio—he’s the best!

Excellent experience start to finish. Our guide, Daniel, was incredibly knowledgeable about the island and was a delight to spend the day with. He navigated to incredible spots that we would have never found on our own. Highly recommend!

Mariano our guide for the day was fantastic. Knowledgeable about the island including the history and was an expert driver! It was a foggy day so we couldn’t see the top of Sete Cicadades nor the Do Fogo, but Mariano added a few extra stops like crossing the Ribeira Grande and the black sand beach to watch the wind surfers. Great innovative way to make sure we had the best time. Also lunch was amazing! Great local place that showcased the best food of the Azores Thanksgiving you Mariano for making our day!
