L'itinerario è On e Offroad e Se il tempo è bello, si può contare su una vista mozzafiato sui laghi e l'oceano. La patente di guida è obbligatoria per i piloti e ricorda che questo è un tour per godersi i paesaggi, non una competizione di rally. Itinerario
Questa parrocchia situata sulla costa nord dell'isola di São Miguel è dove iniziamo e finiamo il tour. Dopo aver iniziato il nostro tour su strade asfaltate, percorreremo il lungomare ed esploreremo strade sterrate in questa zona.
Questa è una montagna con un'altitudine di 845 metri. La vista mozzafiato è molto simile a “Miradouro da Boca do Inferno” ma da una prospettiva più alta (accessibile con i quad) e ancora più magnifica per via della sua altitudine. Da qui puoi vedere Lagoa Rasa, Lagoa de Santiago, Lagoa Verde, Lagoa Azul e una vista sull'intero cratere del vulcano dormiente Sete Cidades. Se il tempo è buono, questo è uno dei momenti salienti del tour, dove possiamo vedere quasi tutta l'isola dall'alto.
Situato ad un'altitudine di 540 metri, questo punto panoramico offre una vista unica e panoramica sul cratere di Sete Cidades. A seconda delle condizioni meteorologiche e delle strade sterrate, possiamo vedere la stessa vista da una prospettiva diversa "Miradouro das Cumeeiras", dove possiamo avere una vista straordinaria sul lago verde e blu ma dal lato opposto del cratere.
Qui puoi aspettarti di fare alcuni sentieri sterrati che circondano la Laguna Blu a Sete Cidades con viste incredibili sui laghi.
Passando su una strada sterrata intornoQuesta è una parrocchia situata sulla costa nord dell'isola di São Miguel. Questo è uno dei villaggi di transito che attraversiamo sulla via del ritorno al punto d'incontro. Qui passeremo per Poços (zona balneare) e il luogo della vecchia fabbrica di balene, disattivata dal 1970 dove rimane solo il camino della fabbrica. Qui faremo anche un sentiero sterrato che collega questa parrocchia a Fenais da Luz. Lagoa Azul.
Qui torniamo al punto di partenza, esplorando alcune strade sterrate del lungomare.

This trip was a fun way to see the west side of the island. The side by sides were a blast to drive, and we got to stop at very cool places with great views. Highly recommended!

Great friendly guides and fun experience
It was perfect! Well-organized tour to incredibly beautiful places on the island. We were able to switch from buggy to ATV at short notice.
The buggy ride was really fun and we ended up seeing several amazing view points even though we couldn’t see the blue and green lakes from the viewpoints as there was too much fog. We did get to ride around them on a trail and it was beautiful. The guide was really good and patient with the group. It was an amazing experience.

We had a great time. The spots they take you to are beautiful, and the pace is relaxed and pleasant.
I don't recommend this trip. 95% of the trip is on paved roads or dirt roads any car can travel on starting from quite a distance away from Sete Cidatels. Guide did mention there had been a landslide recently so some offroad areas normally in the tour weren't allowed. No great tour guide talks, explorations or highlights of various sights, one small talk at the bridge in the Sete Cidatels village, mostly just drove by what we'd already seen on our own with our rental car. Honestly, I was quite bored most of the time and so disappointed to have wasted so much money on a nothing special afternoon. Noise of the machine was intense. Much better off just to rent a car and tour the place on your own.
