"White Gold" – Un viaggio divertente ed emozionante indietro nella storia. Questo tour ti porta in una delle miniere di sale più antiche del mondo accessibile ai visitatori sul monte Dürrnberg. L'"oro bianco" qui estratto ha giocato un ruolo cruciale nella storia di Salisburgo e non solo. Indossando i tradizionali panni da minatore, usando un trenino da minatore e scivolando su scivoli di legno levigati, scenderai livello dopo livello ed entrerai non solo nei misteri di un mondo molto all'interno della montagna. Viaggerai anche indietro nel tempo per secoli. Un minatore ti guiderà spiegandoti in modo vivido la storia e raccontando storie leggendarie emozionanti come quella dell '"Uomo nel sale". Un momento clou sarà il viaggio in zattera attraverso il lago salato sotterraneo. Con divertimento ed eccitazione scoprirete la storia dell'”oro bianco” nascosto da milioni di anni.
Su una barca a propulsione elettrica ti lascerai alle spalle la vita frenetica e rumorosa di tutti i giorni e ti godrai il lago più profondo e pulito della Germania, il gioiello delle Alpi Bavaresi. Questo lago verde smeraldo simile a un fiordo è dominato dalle ripide pareti rocciose del monte Watzmann fino a 1800 m e ha una profondità fino a 190 m. Su una piccola penisola romantica si trova il punto di riferimento del Lago del Re, l'antica cappella agostiniana di San Bartolomeo. L'affascinante eco del lago del Re. (Durante l'inverno dal 06.11.2022 al 01.04.23 giro in barca non possibile, quindi sarà possibile trascorrere del tempo al lago e alla città di Berchtesgaden)
Sulla via del ritorno a Salisburgo attraverseremo l'affascinante cittadina di Berchtesgaden, se il tempo lo consente una possibile visita al palazzo reale e all'abbazia.

MOLTO IMPORTANTE: Il cliente deve essere pronto per il pick-up 15 min. (08:30) prima / prima di iniziare il tour come lui / lei può essere già il 1 ° ad essere prelevato. Massimo 5 minuti di attesa sarà possibile, oltre che aspettare purtroppo non è possibile. Nota: Su richiesta saranno possibili altri luoghi di prelievo, ad esempio la stazione ferroviaria principale di Salisburgo / uscita Schallmoos, ufficio Edelweiss Tours, Theatergasse 1, 5020 Salisburgo.

The tour is really well organized. My guide Shiva is really professional. He is very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of suggestions. The King’s Lake is really peaceful and I think it’s the highlight of the tour!

Highly recommend Edelweiss tours!! We did 2 private full-day tours with them, 2 days in a row from Salzburg. Doris was so helpful with planning - advising us on what to do and what to skip, as well as timing, plus recommending restaurants (& making reservations). Shiva was such an incredible tour guide! He is so knowledgeable, patient, thoughtful, and kind. He has an incredible memory but is so personable and felt like part of our family. He got to know each of us and we will never forget him! Edelweiss made these day trips from Salzburg SO easy (someone else driving, parking, securing tickets), but also added so much to the experience - our guide Shiva had so much information to share that we otherwise wouldn’t have known about. They were also so flexible - we needed to make changes to our itinerary on the day of the tours both days and Shiva didn’t bat an eye - he figured out exactly what we needed to do. Long story short, my itinerary was changed to the Salt mine and visit to the Giant Ice Cave instead. One has to travel by Funicular up to the summit, a walk of xx metres before reaching the salt mine. Beside the introduction, history and methods of exploiting the mines, the slides from level to level and the carriage ride are something to look forward to. I have been to the Salt Mine in Poland and the latter is much more spectacular and interesting compared to this one in Durrnberg. If you have never been to one and nothing for you to compare, it is fine. The Giant Ice Cave is truly awesome, really amazing and phenomenal, simply incredible. One has to travel by cable car/furnicular up to the mountain. There is a considerably walk from the station to the cave, mostly uphill, really a test of your stamina. I am glad to have visited this unique ice treasure deep in the cave (arranged by the tour operator), unbelievably stunning and admire the power of nature. If you are doing a day tour from Salzburg, the Giant Ice Cave is not to be missed, highly recommeded !!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to the tour operator for suggesting the change !!!!! Francis Ong
