La sorgente è in cima a una breve scalata: dirigiti verso il fico, situato a soli 2 km (1,2 miglia) a sud-ovest del villaggio di Rum. La sorgente è stata chiamata in onore della descrizione evocativa di Lawrence nei Sette pilastri della saggezza: ''Davanti a noi un sentiero, pallido per l'uso, zigzagava su per il plinto della scogliera... Da tra [gli] alberi, nelle fessure nascoste della roccia , emise strane grida; gli echi, tradotti in musica, delle voci degli arabi che abbeveravano i cammelli alle sorgenti che sgorgavano a trecento piedi da terra''. Sebbene la piscina stessa sia in gran parte poco attraente, essendo una pozzanghera stagnante, le viste sul deserto sono davvero spettacolari
Tra le vaste distese di sabbia color ruggine nel deserto del Wadi Rum, la Red Sand Dune, o "Al Hasany" in arabo, è una delle più famose. Ufficialmente chiamato Al Ramal è diventato meglio conosciuto con il suo nome descrittivo. Si staglia contro una scogliera come se fosse parte della montagna. Colorata di rosso per la presenza di ossido di ferro, questa duna è fine e morbida sotto i piedi rendendola perfetta per camminare a piedi nudi
Il canyon di Khazali nel Wadi Rum è il sito di incisioni rupestri incisi sulle pareti della grotta raffiguranti umani e antilopi risalenti all'epoca tamudica. Questo stretto canyon contiene numerose incisioni rupestri nabatee di persone e animali. Jebel Khazali, una vetta situata al centro dell'area protetta del Wadi Rum, si apre in una stretta fessura di circa 100 m di lunghezza. Le sue pareti interne sono ricoperte di iscrizioni tamudiche, nabatee e islamiche, oltre a petroglifi raffiguranti esseri umani e animali. Notevoli sono le piante dei piedi petroglifi, che probabilmente avevano un significato religioso. Nel 1932 l'epigrafista francese Savignac annotò le incisioni nella fessura e ne pubblicò alcune nel 1934. I petroglifi e le iscrizioni di Khazali Siq formano un'impressionante collezione essendo una delle principali attrazioni turistiche del Wadi Rum. Alla fine del canyon si trovano diversi bacini artificiali scavati nella roccia per la raccolta dell'acqua
Piccolo ponte di roccia: Facile da scalare, questo ponte offre splendide viste su un'ampia distesa di deserto. È facilmente accessibile e non pericoloso, è perfetto per famiglie con bambini e persone che si sentono meno a proprio agio con l'altezza sotto i piedi
I fichi selvatici e i cespugli del deserto tra enormi rocce e sabbia rossa e gialla rendono questo canyon unico. L'Abu Khashaba Canyon è uno dei canyon che vale la pena visitare e avrai bisogno di circa un'ora per attraversarlo.
Un ponte roccioso più basso che è presente in molti tour e può essere facilmente arrampicato. L'arrampicata dura 5-15 minuti (a seconda della tua esperienza) e la vista che offre sull'area circostante è incredibile

We had an amazing 5-hour jeep tour in Wadi Rum with Mohammed, and it was truly unforgettable. Mohammed is an excellent guide — very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the desert. He made us feel welcome from the first moment and shared so many interesting stories about Wadi Rum, Bedouin life, and the history of the area. The beauty of the desert is beyond words. The landscapes, the colors, the silence, and the vast open space are absolutely breathtaking. Every stop felt like a postcard, and Mohammed knew the best spots for photos and peaceful moments. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time in Wadi Rum. Five hours was not enough to fully enjoy this magical place. If I ever come back to Jordan, I will definitely stay longer and choose Mohammed again as my guide. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Wadi Rum — it was a highlight of our trip.
Awesome tour that I was the highlight of our trip to Jordan! This tour went to so many sites and as we neared the end, we were virtually alone at each site. The guide Mohammed had so many interesting fun facts and answers to any questions that we had about the area whether geography or history and also shared his own personal insights on things making the tour so much better. If you are considering booking a tour in Wadi Rum, this is definitely the one you should book!
This is a fantastic company for a tour in wadi rum! A local tour by the local people to understand local culture, history and religion. Mohammed was an incredible tour guide. Organised everything from where to meet him, what we'll be seeing and what time we'll be back. He took us to spots that fit our schedule. Got some great photos and all around. A wonderful experience! We saw lots of great places and did cool activities in the desert. I was 4 months pregnant and Mohammad gave very good advice on which offer to take, he drove very carefully and took great care of us. And also the night in the tent was awesome, the tents are cozy and the dinner was really tasty fresh und authentic. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience with Wadi Rum Day Tours! We did the full day tour, including a camel ride, which was packed with amazing views, walks around the cliffs and dunes, lots of tea at all the stops, and a tasty homemade lunch. Thank you!
The booking was simple quick and efficient. Mohammed gave us all the details for the pick and what we would be doing throughout the day. We also wanted to do some stargazing which he kindly arranged for us. He was informative, friendly and intelligent company. You can really feel his love for Wadi Rum. We did a two-hour tour with Mohammad, which was a great way to see a few highlights of Wadi Rum without a huge time commitment. Mohammed was knowledgeable and friendly, and gave us plenty of information and time to explore. It was great to learn about the history of the area and what life is like today in Wadi Rum.
