OJ have a great tour with many fascinating stories about the local area and history. Highly recommend this during any visit to Paris.
Thank you! We're delighted OJ shared so many fascinating stories about the area and its history with you. We really appreciate the strong recommendation and hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Paris!
Annie was a fantastic guide! Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly, organised and we had a great time ! Meeting place was round the corner from get your guide and we got a chance to peruse the local market for 45 mins before cycling to and around the gardens with history stops along the way before picnic-ing on the lunch and wine we bought in the sun. Annie brought cups, cutlery, a tarp to sit on and had great tips for the market shopping. More cycling and history and a walk around Marie-Antoinette’s home and gardens before ending the cycle and we explored the palace ourselves. A fun and relaxed way to see much more of the ground than I had previously and the weather held out!
We are so glad you had such a fantastic full-day experience with Annie! It sounds like the perfect day—from exploring the local market with her handy shopping tips to enjoying a sunny picnic with all the thoughtful extras she provided. Cycling really is the ultimate way to experience the vast grounds and Marie-Antoinette's estate in a fun, relaxed way. Thank you for the wonderful review, and we are thrilled the weather held out for you!
What a fantastic day on our bike tour of Palace of Versailles! OJ — “OJ the Turkish Delight” — was truly that. He was informative, sociable, personable, and incredibly fun to spend the day with. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Versailles!

What a fun day!! Dave, our guide, was so knowledgeable and funny. He took us to places that had very few tourists, definitely off the beaten path. The bikes were great—easy to ride. Highly recommend!!!
An really fun day biking in Versailles!! Dave our guide organized our picnic lunch and explained the history as we went.
We had a wonderful day with Matt who spoke our native tongue, English. We met him at the train station in Paris at 7:45 AM and took a quick 12 minute ride to Versailles. We got our e-bikes 2 minutes away and were off with our group of 10. This place is POPULAR so go early if you want to see the inside 'goodies'. Groups also get to 'skip the line' and move much quicker. After a wonderful tour inside the caste and around the grounds, Matt took us into town for some cheese and meat tasting and to get some picnic food. There were SO many options! And all so good. He stopped the group many times throughout the day for those who may need a restroom break or refresh one's water bottles. We had a warm picnic on the grass next to the BIG cross pond. Matt brought blankets and utensils. We toured special areas of the grouds which Matt knew about and they were great. He had us back to the train station at 5 and made sure we all got back on board. A fantastic day!
Our tour guide, Toby, was absolutely INCREDIBLE! He made history a feat of storytelling and engaging. This is the perfect tour for someone who wants to see Versailles and all the gorgeous architecture and landscaping it entails. Thank you Toby!!
Toby and the tour itself were excellent. Very complete. Toby really cared and he did everything in his power to make the tour great. NO NEED FOR E BIKE. Regular bike is fine. Save the money.
Tosh our tour guide was great! Kept a good pace and made it possible to see the expansive area that is Versailles, while still giving us plenty of time to explore the palace.
OJ was one of the best tour guides we've ever had. He was very knowledgeable, well-prepared, considerate, and he made the history more interesting that a lot of information resonated after the tour. I had the history app to get the insight and OJ shared all the key info in a more interesting way that I didn't really need it. The tour itself was very organized and had a good mix of group and free time. We were given some free time to shop for our lunch at the market and it was fun. It was a very short trip to France and I felt lucky to have OJ as our guide; made the trip more memorable and productive. Highly recommended!
