Preparatevi per un giro in barca che è meno sul tesoro sepolto e più sul tesoro vivente! Ci dirigiamo verso la Laguna Luminosa, un luogo dove l'acqua si anima dopo il tramonto. Dimenticate la vostra crociera al tramonto media, perché come le stelle spuntano, qualcosa di veramente magico accade sotto la superficie. Milioni di piccole creature, chiamate dinoflagellate (diciamo cinque volte più veloci!), vivono in queste acque dove il fiume Martha Brae incontra il Mar dei Caraibi. E indovina un po'? Quando vengono scosse – come dalla nostra barca o, ancora meglio, da te che schizzi in giro – si accendono! Stiamo parlando di un bagliore blu-verde elettrico inquietante, scintillante, che sembra uscito da un film fantasy. Mentre navighiamo, vedrai la scia della nostra barca lasciare una scia scintillante. Getta un po' d'acqua e guardala esplodere in una raffica di luce. E per i più avventurosi, puoi anche fare una nuotata e diventare tu stesso una meraviglia incandescente!

All'arrivo alla Laguna, i viaggiatori saranno accolti da un membro del personale ben addestrato e cortese, un drink gratuito verrà offerto prima di salire a bordo della barca. Il capitano si imbarcherà quindi in un giro in barca di 5 minuti mentre spiegherà il fenomeno della Laguna. Non appena trova un posto adatto, ancorerà la barca e permetterà ai viaggiatori di nuotare per qualche minuto, dopodiché tornerà al molo e i viaggiatori potranno uscire dalla barca.

L'autista / guida si avvicinerà ai viaggiatori e si rivolgerà loro per nome, si prega di avere il biglietto pronto da mostrare per la conferma. I veicoli avranno la scritta "JUTA TOURS 912 MC" sul davanti e sul retro. I viaggiatori saranno avvisati della descrizione del veicolo in caso di modifiche. Gli orari di prelievo variano a seconda delle località. I viaggiatori devono contattare per confermare il luogo e l'orario del ritiro.

The boat Captain was funny and informative!! He told us every detail to expect in a funny and entertaining way!! It was a very cool experience in brackish water!! We experienced the glowing in the water just like the pictures on the internet! Great experience!! Even before the boat there was a fun vibe at the waiting area, where you could have food with your complimentary drink. There were a lot of passengers that went out and the staff were all friendly, polite and professional!!
The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because the driver was great, aside from that this was a pretty poor experience. First, it should be fully explained to anyone doing this that tickets for the ride are not pre-purchased or reserved so when you arrive you will have to wait behind everyone who got there before you. We ended up having to wait more than 90 minutes for our turn to go which completely ruined our night because we didn’t end up finishing and returning back to our hotel until very late at night. Second, the place is LOADED with mosquitoes and you will be miserable getting bitten by them while you wait and the greedy opportunistic gift shop there will gladly sell you bug spray for $20 USD (add $5 more if you’re paying with credit card). Yes the glowing light in the water is cool, but having to wait several hours when you include driving time and getting attacked by mosquitoes the whole time will ruin the experience for most people.
We are so sorry you had a bad experience Bryan, we will be sure to have bug spray in our vehicles, also some evenings there will always be a large crowd ahead of you, whether we pre book or not. Thanks again for the feedback.
The tour was absolutely amazing. Me and my bestfriend enjoyed the beautiful water, which was really cold but felt so good after we went in. Our driver was super nice and very informative. Definitely a 10/10 overall. Will definitely be back and with more friends.

I recommend visiting the Luminous Lagoon. It is a rare opportunity to swim and watch the water turn a bright blue around you. My only complaint is that Viator listed the time on my ticket for 4pm which was actually 2 hours too early.
