LivTours did it again! Zacharie was an excellent guide whose storytelling skills were on point. There were eight of us on the tour, four from our family, a French lady who lived close by but had never visited the catacombs and another family. Three of us were teens (13,17 &17) and everyone was engaged, entertained and learned something. This particular tour took us away from the more crowded main tunnels to divert down some of the closed off passages. We learned interesting facts and history and Zacharie included everyone when asking and answering questions. Do not hesitate, seek out LivTours and book a semi-private tour. Our experience with them both in Italy and France has been exemplary. Their guides are interesting, funny and fill the time talking without it feeling like you’re in history class. They all speak better English than us native English speakers! A perfect afternoon that we were all glad we took part in.

The Catacombs Tour is a must see. I thoroughly recommend the small group tour with Manuel. Manuel was knowledgeable and entertaining. He showed us some of the Catacomb sights that non-guided tours don't get to see. He had fascinating stories to tell and kept everyone entertained.
Communication was a real problem. Spent $500 and got no tour. Got to start and no guide was there. Talked to a different company guide who said directions showed meeting around the corner.

It was a 1.5 hour tour with 2 private areas only open to guided tours. Our guide Kasia was great and we enjoyed it and all the information she had!
Zac was our tour guide for the catacombs and he was AMAZING. The tour literally would not have been the same without him. He was funny and clearly has a deep knowledge of and respect for history, culture, and people in general. We paid just over $200 per person for a 1.5 hour tour, and it was so worth it. If you're interested in the history of the Catacombs of Paris, I would highly recommend booking with LivTours and try to request Zac! Though I'm sure they have other good guides. Also it helps that the group was small, just 6 people. We saw another group that was 15 or so and I don't think I would have enjoyed that as much, hard to hear unless the guide shouts, which they really shouldn't be doing (even though this one was).
We loved the tour and really appreciated the semi-private tour which gained us access to areas that the others visiting the site did not include. Our tour guide, Jessica, was fantastic. We were visiting Paris with our 17 year old niece and she did a great job of connecting and engaging with her. Her approach and sense of humor really made it a memorable experience. Highly recommend!
