Fun experience. Good food, plentiful wine. Beautiful views. This was a great way to end my first visit to Paris, France. I bought my ticket separately from my friends who also attended… the team was very accommodating and found a way to put us together for the meal. I enjoyed the live singer very much. She had a soothing and pleasing vocal sound. It was a little warm in the holding area…but Paris was experiencing extreme temperatures during my visit. Highly recommend.
… felt had to hear to warn people, experience was pleasant enough until got fleeced for a $300 bottle of champagne by our slick server who went the extra mile to push the purchase without us knowing about it or the price after numerous times asking and him just serving anyway. I could have put up more of a stink but not worth ruining fun for rest of family. Shame on you and for poor practices and making a good experience bad!
We had a wonderful time on our gourmet dinner cruise! Our trip was scheduled during the heat wave where temperatures were well over 100 degrees, so we were very relieved to find that the boat was air conditioned. We weren’t sure how the quality of the meal would be, but were blown away by our dinner. The food was outstanding, as was the wine and service, surpassing all of our expectations. This was an anniversary dinner for us and one that we will remember fondly. I highly recommend this dinner cruise as it turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Paris.
Food was sub par and rushed. Never received coffee with dessert. You pay for the view. You can probably find a cheaper option.
I would suggest finding a boat with a menu if you have any picky eaters in your group. The food was just ok. We had an unfortunate event on our cruise because someone had a medical need so we had to dock and await ems. This is understandable, however it was not acknowledged by the crew. No announcement was made. We only found out if we asked and then an announcement was made as we restarted that we would make the planned return time. Our trip was cut short and we missed the sunset I specifically booked the cruise to see. It would have been nice for them to proactively communicate why we were sitting and how we would proceed. If I took away the docking part, maybe I would give 3 stars. The singers and our waiters were great.
The ship is very nice, the service excellent, and the food was very good. The ship is also air conditioned, providing some relief on a hot day in Paris
The service was fabulous. The food was also very good. We were there when it was so hot and the boat had really great AC and it proved to be a really nice evening that we all loved.
My wife and I booked this dinner cruise while visiting Paris because it sounded like a wonderful way to see the city at night while enjoying a nice meal. We chose the Privilege/Premier ticket option specifically because it promised a guaranteed window seat, a welcome glass of champagne, a bottle of wine, and an upgraded experience. We felt the extra cost would be worth it. We did receive our guaranteed window seat, but that’s where the premium experience seemed to end. When we were seated, our table had only a piece of bread and empty glasses. For the first 30–45 minutes, we watched guests in other sections—many of whom had purchased the standard tickets—receive champagne, drinks, attentive service, and even appetizers while we were completely ignored. Our waiter didn’t come by for quite some time, and when he finally did, he simply told us to look over the menu before disappearing again. Eventually, after seeing much of the boat already enjoying their meals, we spoke with a supervisor. We were told some groups had been served first, but that didn’t explain why guests who paid for the premium package weren’t even given the promised welcome champagne upon boarding. After the supervisor stepped in, service improved somewhat, and it appeared they were assisting several nearby tables as well. Our original waiter seemed overwhelmed or possibly inexperienced, as he spent much of the evening rushing around without things moving efficiently. Unfortunately, the lack of attentiveness continued throughout the evening. When we finally received the included bottle of wine, it was simply left off to the side in a chilled container, and our waiter was largely absent. While we watched waiters in the standard seating area proactively refill guests’ wine glasses whenever they were getting low, we repeatedly had to flag our waiter down and ask for refills ourselves. It was another reminder that despite paying for the premium package, we were receiving noticeably less attentive service than many guests who had purchased the less expensive tickets. What made the experience especially frustrating was the contrast with the standard-ticket guests seated in the middle of the boat. They appeared to receive exactly what you’d expect from a well-run dinner service: welcome drinks shortly after boarding, prompt order-taking, and each course arriving at a comfortable pace. By around 10:00 to 10:30 p.m., many of them had finished their meals and were free to walk around the boat, step outside onto the viewing deck, and enjoy the illuminated sights of Paris. Meanwhile, we were still waiting on courses, and our dessert wasn’t served until around 10:45 p.m.—only about 15 minutes before we returned to the dock at approximately 11:00 p.m. Instead of spending the end of the cruise taking in the scenery, we were still finishing dinner. The food itself was fine, and the nighttime views of Paris were beautiful. Unfortunately, the service overshadowed what should have been a memorable evening. The most disappointing part was realizing that by paying extra for the premium package, we actually received worse service than many guests with standard tickets. For an experience marketed as a special evening—and especially for international visitors who have planned and prepaid for it—that’s incredibly frustrating. Based on our experience, I can’t recommend paying for the premium upgrade, and I’d be hesitant to recommend this cruise at all. The views are memorable, but the inconsistent service made what should have been a highlight of our trip one of its biggest disappointments.
The boat didn’t start no Airconditioning They didn’t t tell us at first while evening ruined. Got off boat before meal cause was so hot no dinner, no boat ride no refund
Overall it is a nice experience, but not great. The food is delicious, but the portions were very, very small. The entertainment was good. The entire experience was just not worth it for the price. You can hardly see out of the windows if you’re in the center part of the boat and there’s no guided information or sightseeing tips on the boat. Everything is indoors, so the A/C is great, but it cuts down on the ability to mingle and see the sights as you pass. You sit at your table and eat your meal while on a boat, but I wouldn’t consider it a sightseeing cruise by any means.
