The guide was nice and good at keeping track of the group, really lovely experience!. Wonderful way to see Copenhagen. Good to know - yes you get a little wet (but it dries), no it is not easy to fall into the water or tip over the kayak, they are very steady. Bring a waterproof bag or pocket to keep your phone in so you can take photos.
This was more about kayaking through the canal in Nyhavn rather than an actual guided tour. The guide only shared a couple of facts during the experience so if you want an actual guided tour, you're better off doing a boat tour. We also only kayaked for a little over an hour cause it took almost 45 minutes to get everyone in their kayaks. The guides also decided to combine two groups together that were supposed to run at different times so the group ended up being quite large. If you want to go kayaking, my suggestion would be to do one of the free kayak rentals where you just have to pick up trash in the water as payment.
Enjoyed by all the family! Kayaking in double kayaks around the canals of København - our guide Ivan looked after us all and shared interesting things about the city as we paddled around. Recommended.
The guide was terrific and patient. Great trip for active families even without too much experience. I would recommend for anyone visiting Copenhagen
It's a great way to see the city. If you've never picked up a paddle before it'll be hard for you because you're crossing big channels ans navigating with boats, but, it's really easy once you get the hang of it. If you pat attention, the guide, Christian, has lots of interesting information to share, too.
First time kayaker, tremendous amount of fun also due to how bad we were. It was a great way to see Copenhagen and highly recommend!
Kayaking through Copenhagen was an experience. Good, it was sun, only light wind and we were a nice group, but also the guide Jonas was very nice. He stopped at some stations and also talked a lot about the city itself. You have to pay attention to the many excursion boats, but even there our guide was always very careful. We then walked the entire route again in the afternoon, which only reinforced the impression of a great city.
Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Wir freuen uns, dass Sie eine schöne Kajaktour hatten. Wir leiten die Nachricht an Jonas weiter.
Liv was an excellent guide! She made sure we all understood the rules of kayaking in the canals of Copenhagen, before leading us on a wonderful behind the streets (and from the water!) tour of the city. Her stories were interesting and certainly a different view than what we received on other tours. I would highly recommend seeing Copenhagen from this vantage point!
Thank you for the 5 stars and your story. We will pass on the message to Liv. We are glad to hear about a wonderful tour on the water.
Liv was a great guide. She made sure we all felt comfortable and secure in our kayaking abilities and told great stories throughout the tour (we went on several tours while in Copenhagen and it was nice to hear something fresh and new). What a wonderful way to see the city! I would highly recommend.
Thanks so much for your fine review. We will pass it on to Liv :-)
Kayaking in the canals was a good way to see the city, but our guide, Jonas, while being a very nice guy, told us almost nothing about the sites we passed.
Thanks for your review. I have passed on the information our guide.
