Il Marché des Enfants Rouges è il più antico mercato coperto di Parigi, in Francia. Fu fondato nel 1628 come "petit marché du Marais" e si trova al 39 di Rue de Bretagne nel Marais (3° arrondissement). Il mercato è stato classificato come monumento storico dal 1982. Ortaggi in vendita al Marché des Enfants Rouges Il nome in inglese si traduce come "Mercato dei bambini rossi", e si riferisce al vicino "Hospice des Enfants-Rouges" dove gli orfani erano vestiti di rosso (il colore della carità). Il mercato offre frutta fresca, verdura, fiori e pane, oltre a ristoranti dove gli acquirenti possono acquistare pasti cucinati.

Pablo led us on a wonderful tasting experience through the Marais. We savored quintessential French specialties from nicely aged cheeses and charcuterie to French onion soup or Beef Bourgogne accompanied by red or white wines, and a sweet crêpe. As Pablo led us to each eatery he filled us in on local culture and sights as we worked up our appetite for the next culinary delight. Pablo was personable and we had a great time.

Pablo was fantastic! He was very personable and informative. We went to 3 different restaurants and had 4 courses with glasses of wine or other drinks at each location. The food was authentic and delicious. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

The food was wonderful and our guide was excellent. Pablo gave us the history of the neighborhoods we walked through and when we expressed interest in certain places or things to do, he gave us great advice and information. Well beyond the scope of the delicious foods we sampled. We were very pleased and finished the tour full of great Parisian food.
What an excellent experience! Our guide Pablo was very knowledgeable about the city and pointed out many details as we walked. The dining experiences were also top notch, featuring establishments that you might otherwise walk past. We samples charcuterie, esgarot, macrons, and crepes. All of it was outstanding! This Tour was private, just for the two of us. Our guide, Pablo, was super nice and showed us around a few nice spot. We got to taste a meat and cheese platter, beef Bourgignon, escargots, and topped it off with crèpes. We booked several tours during our stay in Paris and this tour was our favorite. Next, we sipped on a perfectly crafted espresso martini before diving into a rich and flavorful beef bouillon. The grand finale? A mouthwatering banana Nutella crêpe that was the perfect sweet ending to a truly unique experience. Pablo’s passion and knowledge made every stop feel special.
