Shibuya Ebisu is easily one of the best Japanese spots around. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between vibrant, modern energy and cozy authentic charm. The food was out of this world. Everything was exceptionally fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with authentic flavor. The sushi melted in your mouth, the sashimi quality was top-shelf, and every small plate we tried was executed to perfection. You can truly tell the kitchen takes immense pride in their craftsmanship and ingredient quality. Special shoutout to the staff—service was attentive, incredibly friendly, and prompt without ever feeling rushed, even during a busy rush. Whether you're looking for an intimate date night, a celebration, or just high-quality Japanese cuisine, Shibuya Ebisu delivers on every single level. My wife and I will definitely visit again next time in Tokyo.
We were late due to our delayed flight, but Moto accommodated us. She shared a brief history of the area and took us to some very local places with great food. Moto is friendly, engaging and fun.
Really enjoyed the tour with Duke. He had a lot of interesting info and stories to share and was an entertaining host, The food options were good and seem very representative of the izakayas in the area, though maybe a little bit on the safe side.
We had a fantastic experience on this tour! We visited two restaurants, and both served delicious food. Our guide did a great job explaining each dish, which added a lot to the experience. It ended up just being the two of us, with no other people in the group, which made it feel even more personalized. Everything was perfect—highly recommended!
This was a great tour! Izumi was wonderful, very knowledgeable and nice, and chose amazing dishes for us to try. We particularly liked the second restaurant, where the selections were completely unfamiliar to us and sooooo tasty. 10/10 would recommend and would do this again. Go on an empty stomach!

My private tour w/ Muneko was nothing short of amazing! It was just her and I wandering through the alleys of Shibuya, visiting really cool Izakayas. I was able to try so much good Japanese food at 3 different establishments I would not have even known existed. It was nice having Muneko help me experience what it feels like to be a local in Japan. She was fun, vibrant and even helped this rookie finish his sake when he had a bit too much to drink lol. If you want a genuine Japanese food experience, book this tour! You won’t be disappointed:)
