Entra in uno degli edifici più suggestivi della Vecchia Montreal, un'ex grande banca trasformata in caffè, per un classico bagel al salmone affumicato che dà il via alla tua esperienza Secret Food Tours con stile. Da lì, passeggia per le strade di ciottoli fino a un'épicerie locale per un tagliere di formaggi e salumi del Québec pieno di sapore regionale (in giorni selezionati, questo viene scambiato per qualcosa di dolce). Poi viene la nostra tappa segreta: un posto che la gente del posto ama e che la maggior parte dei turisti non trova mai. Nascosta in una strada storica, questa taverna greca serve autentici piatti mediterranei: pensate alle insalate fresche, alle salse fatte in casa e alle specialità alla griglia. The stops we made had delicious food items. We got a great sense of the culture and history of the city through the food. Our tour guide Chantal was amazing, kind, funny, and told really interesting stories about Montreal.

The tour guide, Chantal, did a wonderful job making us feel welcomed. She also kept the tour interesting with her knowledge of the local area and it's history. On top of that, the food was very tasty. It was slightly different than is specified in the description, but we are glad that it was. Our favorite foods were the carrot cake and the Greek lamb dish. Chantal was wonderful! She was very personable and a great guide. There was a good variety of food options, but we especially liked the Greek restaurant and poutine. This was a great way to start our trip to the city!
