We had the best experience on this tour! Our guide Olivie (Oliver) was the best! He was so knowledgeable about Parisian history and food. He was funny, kind, and helpful! My teenager daughters were with us and they loved the tour as well. We got to taste chocolate, cheese, jam, olive oil, wine, pastries, and small plates. Everything was fantastic! It has been the highlight of our trip!
Our tour leader, Aude, was very knowable and friendly. We would recommend this tour to everyone. It was great.
Thank you so much for this review so important for us that we will share with Aude.
Nothing specific. Everything is well advertised in the description of the gourmet walk. The guide plays an essential role!
Merci pour ce témoignage. C’est vrai que la guide est essentielle. Tout autant que le script et les arrêts que nous choisissons. Nous sommes si ravies que cela vous ait plu.
Fanny was a great guide. It was nice to try a variety of different foods, sweet and savory. Our last stop for a light meal and wine was fabulous
Dear Allison Thank you for your review. so happy that you've enjoyed this little Tour de France.
This was a great tour! Our guide Emma made the experience!! She was friendly and knowledgeable. The first stops were sweets focused and the end was more dinner focused. Everything was good, but I think the knowledge and walking tour was actually better than the food. The neighborhood was also so fantastic
Thank you so much for having taken some time to write a review. Sometimes Regional Food is wird for foreigners. I am happy that you've enjoyed what we've created for you. We are looking forward to welcoming you again in Paris, Bordeaux or Nice.
Not really a food tour. History tour of the neighborhood with a few stops at retail stores selling jams, olive oil and a stop to select a pastry to take with you. No stops at cheese shops, bakeries etc. Emma was lovely and shared interesting facts but the stops were below par
Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback — it is truly important to us. We would like to clarify a few points regarding your experience. You had selected our 2-hour tour, which includes a curated selection of tastings: artisanal jams, olive oils, grand cru chocolates, and a pastry by a Meilleur Ouvrier de France. This pastry is indeed offered to take away, as the location is not a tea room — we apologize if this was disappointing, though you were invited to enjoy it during the tour. The experience concludes in a wine bar owned by a former chef of the Crillon and the Ritz, a well-known TV personality and a reference in modern French bistronomy. Throughout the tour, all tastings are carefully explained by a guide specialized in gastronomy, covering both their historical background and unique characteristics. Saint-Germain-des-Prés is a very lively and busy neighborhood, and within a 2-hour format, we carefully select each stop to ensure a comfortable and high-quality experience. For this reason, we are unable to include more than 8 tastings. Please note that cheese tasting is exclusively included in our 3-hour tour. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again for a longer experience. Kind regards. Isabelle
Fernando was a terrific guide. Showed us some hidden gems in the neighborhood. He also offered some interesting insights.
Thank you so much for this kind review . Happy that you've enjoyed your Food tour with Fernando. Thank you again for having selected us.
We can’t say enough about how great our tour with Laure was. Her knowledge of French history, culinary traditions, hidden gem shops we would never have discovered on our own, and her genuine interest and caring to learn about our preferences and experience made for an intimate and enriching experience in Paris. We have done walking tours and especially food walking tours in many European cities. It is a great way to go deeper into the cultural nuances of a place. When you have a great guide, it really makes the experience resonate and become a lasting memory.
Dear visitor You made my day ! It is so encouraging! We’ve created this food tour for this review. Laure will be so happy. Thank you so much . We’re looking forward to meeting you again in Paris or Bordeaux.
What a wonderful afternoon. The commentary was excellent and the different food tastings were exceptional. We had a hard time trying to not buy too much stuff from the places we had our tastings. Our guide was excellent and she was very well prepared and cordial.
Thank you very much for this so kind review. So happy that you’ve enjoyed our creation.
Saint-Germaine was beautiful and our guide, Zoe was wonderful; however, for the price we paid, the food was disappointing. Tour began with a jam tasting then an olive oil tasting. Third stop was to a phenomenal patisserie where we picked up 2 desserts to go. Those were delicious. Fourth stop was the most disappointing. Stopped at the oldest market in the area where we sat on uncomfortable stools outside and were only allowed to choose one appetizer each to taste. Last stop was in a dark basement for a taste of some cheese and one glass of wine. I’ve been on many food tours where we were taken to many establishments and sat inside at nice tables for substantial taste of food items. Since there were only 2 of us, we could have easily been accommodated in some of the establishments our guide pointed out, like the first coffee shop in Paris.
Dear visitor Thank you for your review . I am sorry that you didn’t enjoy the end of your food tour. Where you stay on a stool is owned by a chef who worked in the Ritz and the Crillon . This is the best food you can have as bistronomy around . The cheese cave is fresh with the hot Summer very nice and direct from a producer from the Alpes. We have an exclusive access. And I am sorry to tell you you can not for this price have a dish in the first code shop of Paris. Saint Germain des Prés is the most expensive district in Paris and we really did our best to offer you the best food and wine for you. We thank you so much for having chosen our company.
