Great information about the city and amazing food. Our guide was knowledgeable and showed us many notable places around the city.
A lovely experience. Relaxed and personal approach. Friendly and experienced guide.
This was incredible! Got to learn about the city and taste lots of wonderful, local things. Do it at the beginning of your trip so you can leverage all the guide's amazing tips for things to do and eat in the city. She even provided us a full list and maps at the end!
Anastasia did a wonderful job telling us all about the town of Tallinn and its history. She’s exceptionally knowledgeable about the food of the area. We sampled some local items and dishes in several different Old Town locations. Everyone in Tallinn all inn should take the tour!
Lana our Tour Guide was excellent! She was knowledgeable, kind, and had a friendly personality! The food was delicious and the places chosen were well selected. Lana’s knowledge of the Tallin Olde Town was appropriate and informative!
I really enjoyed this food tour with Svetlana. She did an excellent job weaving Estonian history with the elements of the food tour for our group of six people. We had a chance to sample a number of Estonian foods that I probably wouldn’t have had a chance to try in typical restaurants. I appreciate how accommodating Svetlana was with my dietary restrictions (I don’t eat red meat or alcohol). There wasn’t much walking involved as most of the stops were quite close together, but there are lots of cobblestones and uneven surfaces in the old town which could make it a difficult tour for persons with limited mobility. The tour ended with some excellent recommendations for both places to eat and things to do in and around Tallinn.
On this tour, Anastasia shared a lot about Old Town, history and the culture of Estonia. We had several stops for food including Munga Kelder where we had mushroom soup and blood bread and Pelman Kohvik for dumplings, a sampler platter and a beer.
Anastasia is a wonderful guide. She told us interesting facts about the various buildings in Old Town and we sampled a nice selection of local delicacies.
A good tour of Tallinn old town exploring food options for all interests. A couple of restaurants are “just visiting” but they are a nice change of pace from a usual food tour where you’re gone all day. This tour felt like it moved quickly but also wasn’t rushed, a perfect amount of time and stops for the size of the city. The streets of town are cobblestone-like so wear comfortable shoes but it is also a reasonable amount of walking at a relaxed pace. Thanks again, great tour of Tallinn old town and great tasting food.
The guide was very knowledgable and informative. The food was incredible! For me I liked that it was reasonable fast paced through the old town. There was plenty of time when we sat to eat food at the different stops, but in between it was more about collecting suggestions and ideas for where you wanted to come back and revisit with more care and attention. We didn't have to walk too far overall so it was easy to go back and find spots I was interested in on my own after.
