Durmitor è una montagna e un parco nazionale in Montenegro. Si ritiene che il nome Durmitor abbia origine dalla parola celtica che significa "una montagna piena d'acqua". Durmitor, che per la sua bellezza e integrità, è una parte rara e autentica della natura, è stata dichiarata parco nazionale nel 1952. Bobotov kuk alto 2.523 metri è la vetta più alta del massiccio montuoso del Durmitor. È anche la vetta più alta del Montenegro.

Informazioni di viaggio: lunghezza del percorso: 12 km, altitudine massima: 2523 m, peso: medio, disponibilità: tutto l'anno. Questa escursione in montagna inizia dalla curva Sedlo, verso nord, con una leggera salita. Già all'inizio godremo della bellezza del paesaggio, attraverseremo sentieri erbosi, prati e aspre strade rocciose. Ci stenderemo sotto gli scogli, dopo di che entreremo nella splendida valle di "Surutka" da dove viene osservata la figura del nostro obiettivo - Bobotov kuk. Sulla strada per la vetta più alta troveremo i pozzi e saremo rinfrescati bevendo acqua di montagna. Bobotov Kuk insieme alle cime '' No Name '' Peak (2487 m) e '' Damsel '' (Soa, 2440 m) formano la cresta rocciosa più alta del Durmitor chiamata Soa Heavenly, che significa "The Underlay of the Sky" . Godremo della vista dei laghi Škrčka, che sono chiamati "occhi di montagna" con il resto del gruppo dei laghi Durmitor (per un totale di 18 laghi glaciali). Dalle cime del Durmitor c'è una vista meravigliosa in tutte le direzioni, che ti permetteranno sicuramente di scattare foto fantastiche! Partecipa al tour di montagna preferito tra i turisti! Il tour è condizionato da medio a pesante. La differenza di altitudine che passa da Sedlo alla cima è 820m. La salita finale è tecnicamente più impegnativa (gli ultimi 20 minuti di salita in cima), rocciosa e richiede cautela, tuttavia: la pista ha abbastanza spazio per camminare in tutto il suo percorso, è protetta e ha spazio per un passo sicuro, quindi non è rischioso e tecnicamente impegnativo. Nota: il tour dura 5 - 6 ore + tempo per il trasferimento a seconda della città del tuo alloggio. Bisogno di portare: scarpe comode, scarpe da ginnastica o scarpe da arrampicata. Acqua, cibo e buon umore per un divertimento indimenticabile!

Hiking to Bobotov Kuk (2,523 m), the iconic summit of the Durmitor, is an unforgettable experience, but reserved for fit hikers. The departure from the Prevoj Sedlo car park immediately sets the tone with a first steep passage, secured by cables, which requires a little attention but can be crossed without much difficulty. After this physical beginning, the natural spectacle is constant: grandiose landscapes pass between rocky ridges, green valleys and steep cliffs. Sometimes we meet a few ibex or chamois, adding to this impression of evolving in a territory still wild. The last part is the most technical, with a very steep final wall to climb. Nothing insurmountable in dry weather, but we must remain vigilant, especially on the latest nevées. Arrival at the summit rewards all efforts: a breathtaking 360° view of the entire massif and the surrounding reliefs (literally!). In short: a splendid and demanding hike, which makes a lasting impression on people.

Fantastic guided hike through this company. Guide (Zdravko) was brilliant...set a pace that matched our skills..took photos the entire way .. explained a lot about the history of the area and the plant species etc (even recommend a fantastic wine for the evening!). Contact with the company throughout was excellent with quick answers at short notice.
