Questo tour che collega il centro e la spettacolare regione settentrionale del Montenegro, include due parchi nazionali, Durmitor e Biogrdaska Gora con le loro perle: due laghi glaciali, 2 profondi canyon, Tara e Moraca, che offrono uno splendido scenario. Due fiumi puliti e verdi rinfrescheranno i nostri occhi e un famoso monastero montenegrino ci racconterà tutti i suoi segreti e ci mostrerà bellissimi affreschi e icone. Il tour celebra le foreste montenegrine e avrai l'opportunità di goderti la freschezza e l'unicità di una delle tre foreste primordiali europee rimaste, mentre i pini neri nel canyon di Tara ti impressioneranno per la loro altezza. Questo tour ti dirà anche qualcosa sullo stile di vita degli highlander nelle aree remote del Montenegro. Sulla nostra strada avrai l'opportunità di gustare cibi locali e prelibatezze casearie in alcuni dei ristoranti tradizionali e il famoso brandy Sljivovica.

Itinerario
A soli 30 minuti da Podgorica si trova uno spettacolare canyon del fiume Moraca, lungo circa 30 km e profondo fino a 1000 m, famoso per le sue ripide scogliere. La nostra sosta sarà nel mezzo del canyon con vista sul limpido e verde fiume Moraca e sulle scogliere. Il fiume Moraca è uno dei pochi fiumi selvaggi rimasti in Europa, lungo circa 113 km con sorgente sotto le alte vette delle montagne Moracke, con acqua limpida e sempre fredda.
Uno dei monasteri montenegrini più significativi si trova proprio accanto al fiume Moraca e contiene alcune delle icone e degli affreschi più belli non solo del Montenegro ma dei Balcani. C'è una grande storia dietro questo luogo religioso di 8 secoli ed è uno dei monasteri più visitati del Montenegro.
A circa 90 km da Podgorica, il parco nazionale Biogradaska Gora ci accoglie con la sua foresta primordiale, una delle 3 rimaste in Europa. Nel cuore del parco c'è un bellissimo lago Biogradsko con un percorso piacevole e mite per camminare lungo 3,3 km intorno al lago. È una vera occasione per sentire l'armonia con la natura, per respirare profondamente e godersi la tranquillità all'ombra di alberi alti fino a 60 m e di 400-500 anni.
Il percorso ci porta ulteriormente attraverso il lungo e profondo canyon del fiume Tara, con molti bei panorami su diverse sfumature di colore verde del fiume Tara, il cui soprannome è lacrima dell'Europa. Non mancheremo di toccare con mano le sue acque verdi e fredde. I pini neri guardiani del canyon ci stupiranno per la sua altezza, mentre la famosa cresta di Tara alta 160 m ci stupirà per la sua grazia. Per tutti gli amanti dell'avventura è l'occasione per provare una delle zipline più lunghe d'Europa.
Il Lago Nero è il più grande dei 18 laghi glaciali del massiccio del Durmitor, i cosiddetti occhi di montagna. È l'ultima perla nella collana di questo tour e forse un momento perfetto per sederti su una delle tante panchine intorno al lago e, circondato da una fitta foresta di conifere, per riassumere tutti i ricordi belli e stimolanti di questa giornata . Il lago si trova ad un'altitudine di 1500 m sul livello del mare ed è costituito in realtà da due laghi che nella stagione secca sono separati e nel resto dell'anno collegati. Il bagno nel lago è possibile ma è sotto la propria responsabilità.

Nothing can be better than travelling along with such an amazing person like Nino. He planned such an incredible tour while also keeping us engaged with the history of the national parks and the many plant and animal species. We got to experience some insane views across the Tara Canyon, Biogradska Gora, and Durmitor National Park. Nino was so kind that we could have a small picnic amidst the lush green forest in Biogradska Gora. Loved every bit of this trip - and it would have been definitely incomplete if not for Nino's insights and flexibility :) This tour will surely surprise anyone with all the hidden gems that Northern part of Montenegro has to offer. 10/10 recommend this tour. Ofcourse, Nino is possibly the best guide and travel buddy to explore these treasures with and certainly has our highest recommendation!

Excellent tour seeing, smelling, experiencing the beauty of Montenegrin parks and gorges. Nino our guide was excellent, patient, knowledgeable and a careful driver. I’m a nature lover so it was perfect for me. Though my husband isn’t as crazy about nature, he too enjoyed the tour.

The mountains of Montenegro are stunning. Our tour guide, Nino, was excellent. He made the day fun. He shared a lot of knowledge about the history of the sites we visited. He was very flexible with the schedule allowing us to decide how much time we wanted to spend at each stop. I would definitely recommend this tour!

You will really love this experience because Nino is an excellent tour guide with a lot of knowledge. He speaks English very well and knows a lot of history and is extremely thoughtful. He knows every place in Montenegro and will take you wherever you want to stop. It was a very meaningful experience to see some of the places and he's very detail oriented and knowledgeable. I would hire him to meet my private driver or to ask him for any advice on any tour at any time in montenegro. He's a real treasure.

This was a wonderful tour with breath taking sites. Nino the guide from Natour Montenegro Travel is and excellent guide who not only knows every tiny road in Montenegro but has deep knowledge of the history and culture. Being on a Van instead of a sedan also allows up to watch better the views.
