Ancora una volta la natura della città di Cusco ci mostra un'altra impressionante attrazione naturale "La catena montuosa arcobaleno di Palccoyo" dove potremo godere della bellezza e del colore della regione, allo stesso modo possiamo apprezzare la varietà di flora e fauna che ci mostra questa bellissima posto. Questa attrazione è relativamente nuova e molte persone della regione non conoscevano questa catena montuosa dell'arcobaleno di Palccoyo, poiché prima era coperta dalla neve, che non permetteva di vedere la sua colorazione; Tuttavia, a causa del riscaldamento globale, la neve è scomparsa e ora con la nostra nuova escursione è possibile visitare il Palccoyo Rainbow Range (Combapata).
All'arrivo a Checacupe osserveremo il processo evolutivo del sistema viario attraverso tre ponti coloniali situati nella stessa città di Checacupe: ponte Inca, Ponte Coloniale e Ponte Repubblicano, si può anche vedere un tempio coloniale con pregevoli opere di intaglio in legno, foglia d'oro e che ospita i dipinti della scuola di Cusco (Diego Quispe). Una volta terminata la visita di questo centro archeologico, partiremo per la Rainbow Mountain Range di Palccoyo, situata a 4.900 metri sul livello del mare.
Arrivati a questo punto inizieremo la nostra passeggiata di 40 minuti circa. Dove apprezzeremo le valli dei ghiacciai erosi e le formazioni permiane dai colori brillanti che risaltano tra le altre e che è abitata da alpaca e lama. Possiamo anche apprezzare alcune comunità e agricoltori che vivono nelle zone basse della Rainbow Mountain Range di Palccoyo. Apprezzeremo anche la foresta di pietre di Ccacca Loma e la montagna rossa. Continuando il nostro tour della Rainbow Mountain Range di Palccoyo, andremo a San Pedro per gustare un delizioso pranzo a buffet. Dopo aver gustato il nostro pranzo andremo al circuito delle quattro lagune, dove osserveremo i diversi laghi (Acopia, Pomacanchis, posposqo cocha, misky cocha), qui avremo abbastanza tempo per osservare la varietà di uccelli e il paesaggio che ci circonda.
Dopo tutto questo bellissimo tour e dopo aver visitato la Rainbow Mountain Range di Palccoyo, torneremo nella città di Cusco arrivando alle 18:30 circa.

We visited Mount Palccoyo and found a great alternative to Vinicunca. The trail is lighter, the colorful landscapes are beautiful and there are fewer people, which left the experience more peaceful and photogenic. We went in December and it was snow, but still it was beautiful. We recommend for those who want the view of the colorful mountains without the exhausting walk.

The tour starts very early type 3-4 am, how good you can sleep on the way, we breakfast in a very good buffet and then depart for the mountain. Here the height is the problem, you can walk up but it requires a lot of condition, the good thing is that there are horses that you can pay and for 90 suns they leave you 15-20 minutes from the top. Wear layered clothes as you can warm up when climbing. We already walk down and the road is much easier. On horseback you go up in 40 minutes, you are on the mountain an hour to take pictures and the return is about 1 hour or so. In the end we still had lunch in the same very rich buffet!
The experience was extraordinary. We booked for 12 people all tours with this agency and it was extraordinary from start to finish. On this particular tour of the colorful mountain, our driver was Ephraim and our guide Erick and we could not have had better people on this trip. The rainbow mountains covered with snow for a few days, before we got there. The guide didn’t mention anything when we left early in the morning so we could not see anything.

What can we say about our experience in Peru? We can say it was fantastic, we learned much more than landscapes, history, culture and a lot of love for the profession. Our Guide Alex made us cry on the day of departure, as he is our main longing for Peru, through his eyes and knowledge we gained 1,000 years of studies and learned a little more about Inca culture. He presented us with Snow, something none of us imagined we would see. It was exciting.
