Progettato con una combinazione eccezionale per esplorare al meglio le meraviglie che circondano il vulcano. Questo tour è per coloro che amano camminare e camminare attraverso il baldacchino della foresta. La prima attività consiste in un'escursione guidata dalla natura attraverso sentieri in combinazione con ponti sospesi in cui sarà possibile sperimentare ciò che la foresta pluviale è dall'alto e vedere molta fauna selvatica. Seguendo l'escursione alla cascata mozzafiato dove è possibile rinfrescarsi e nuotare, in seguito il pranzo perfetto in un ranch di famiglia locale attende di guadagnare energia per l'ultima parte ... l'escursione intorno al vulcano!

Questa è un'opportunità unica in cui puoi fare escursioni intorno a un vulcano attivo! Non preoccuparti, non butta più la lava, ma certamente ha lasciato i sentieri di lava in cui camminerai e sarai il più vicino a questo colosso e tutto ciò che rappresenta come la foresta pluviale, casa di animali, cultura, viste incredibili e storia affascinante !
Ai ponti sospesi camminerai mentre combini gli affascinanti ponti sospesi con escursioni a terra nella foresta pluviale. Una serie di ponti sospesi sono collegati a questo bel parco, così puoi camminare su di loro ed essere in grado di osservare come si presenta la vera foresta pluviale dalle altezze ... Anche se sarai appeso alle cime degli alberi, potrai vedere molta azione della fauna selvatica e uccelli e imparare da un diverso modo di vivere dalle altezze.
Attraverserai la diga che mostra la via aperta del magnifico e gigantesco lago Arenal!
Per raggiungere le magnifiche acque della cascata sarà necessaria una camminata di 20 minuti per scendere le 500 scale, non fatevi prendere dal panico! Non è così male come sembra ... tu sarai con la tua guida che domina la bellezza del canyon che si apre di fronte a te e andrai piano, al tuo ritmo, fidati di me, ne vale la pena! Una volta raggiunto il terreno, prenditi del tempo per sentirti immerso nella natura e tutto ciò che rappresenta per te, è il modo perfetto per rilassarsi, lascia semplicemente andare e pensa a nient'altro che ai momenti che stai vivendo. Salta sull'acqua, esplora, nuota e divertiti prima di rimettersi sullo stesso sentiero ... ma di nuovo, lentamente! Alla cascata hai 2 opzioni: 1. Fai l'escursione come descritto 2. Resta nelle strutture principali, c'è un ristorante dove bere un drink, bagni e spogliatoi e un bel osservatorio, così puoi guardare giù fino alla cascata e aspettare che il gruppo ritorni e ti porti ad assaggiare un buon pranzo!
Dopo una bella camminata e nuotata nella cascata, La Familia Rodriguez ti aspetterà con il pranzo perfetto per recuperare le energie! Serviranno un pranzo tradizionale davvero di buon gusto, cucinato con la fattoria locale e ingredienti biologici e dandogli il tocco di amore per quello che sarà il miglior pasto che tu abbia in Costa Rica! Wow! This was an amazing full day tour. Isaac was our guide and he was so knowledgable on the animals. He taught us about the land, the history, and Costa Rican culture. This tour is great for anyone. The best part of the experience was the Waterfall. Do not be afraid of all of the steps up and down to see it. The steps are very well groomed and taken care of. There are handrails for older people who would like to make their way down, and it was shaded. It was not a difficult hike to see the waterfall, but was the best part of this experience!
Our guide Marvin was so great at both spotting wildlife and providing fascinating information about the Arenal volcano and the unique ecosystems of the area. He is especially great with kids and created several interactive mini lessons throughout our hike to keep our young ones engaged. He’s also a great photographer!
We had a wonderful experience with Rainforest Explorers, and overall everything was beautifully organized. Our guide, Francisco, was truly outstanding—patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout our tour. He helped us explore the La Fortuna area in the best possible way. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had requested a special surprise in advance, and although Ileana confirmed something would be arranged, nothing was prepared, which was quite disappointing and unexpected for us. Aside from that, we were highly satisfied with the tour.
Wow, where do I start? Rainforest Explorers is simply the best tour company we have ever worked with. We loved our customized half day tour of the Mistico Hanging Bridges followed by an authentic Costa Rican picnic lunch, and then another half day tour of Arenal Volcano followed by a walking tour in La Fortuna and lunch at the very best soda - La Casa de La Hormiga. The highlight of our experience was our guide, Francisco. He blew us away with his depth of knowledge of the geology, flora, and fauna of the region. We learned so much from him and can't imagine how different the experience would have been had we not had such a knowledgeable and experienced guide. We loved our time with Francisco and everyone associated with Rainforest Explorers and feel like we made new friends in Costa Rica! This family operated company is so customer service focused and provides you with the most memorable experiences that you will keep for a lifetime. I can't recommend them more highly!
Fran, Anita and Jorge were wonderful guides. They were polite, knowledgeable and easily able to communicate in Spanish and English. They offered fascinating insights into natural history, biology and Costa Rican history. The lunch served was incredible and the pace of the day's events were very manageable. It was a wonderful experience which we'll highly recommend to friends and family. Muchas gracias y pora vida!
What an amazing tour! It was a full day of hiking so be prepared but it is worth it! We had 3 kids ages 5, 10, and 11 and the guide was amazing with them! We started our day at Mistico bridges and there is no way we would’ve seen 20% of the animals without Isaac, our guide. He would find something and set up his scope and show us. He was so accommodating to our kids and answered every question a kid could have. We then went to La Fortuna waterfall, which was gorgeous. Then to their HQ for lunch that was prepared by the family there. It was SO good! After lunch, and coffee, we went to the volcano trails. There we hiked up and learned all about the volcano. Definitely book this tour with this company if you want to do these 3 things. It was such a fun day!
We were very fortunate to be matched up with Mau for this excursion. While I'm sure I would have enjoyed the Hanging Bridges, La Fortuna Waterfall and the lava flows without Mau, I would have missed so much and had not nearly the memorable experience I did with him. Mau and Johan were friendly and worked to provide us the best experience possible. We stopped several times along the road when fauna, especially sloths, were found, so we could get a better view. Mau consistently broke out his trusty monocular to allow us to get incredible views. And he would even take pictures on his phone through the monocular and sent them to us at the end of the trip. The Hanging Bridge excursion needs to be done with a guide, specifically a guide with the knowledge and dedication of Mau. Mau was able to point out several animals that I would have never seen without pointing them out. Several passerby stopped to hear him speak and get information during the trail. At each of our stops and en route to our next spot, Mau would tell us all about his country and the land as well as answer any questions we had. Also included with this excursion is a lunch stop at essentially a "soda" so you can try a typical casado (plate with meat or fish, rice and beans, piccadillo, plaintain and tortilla) which was one of the better meals we had. Do yourself a favor and book Mau or at least Rainforest Explorers to get the most out of your tour experience
What a wonderful experience! Our guide, Isaac, and driver, Edgardo, were both very professional and so knowledgeable. Isaac’s ability to spot wildlife was incredible! We saw so much more than we could have seen without his expertise. The lunch provided was an experience in itself! The traditional Costa Rican cuisine and was delicious. Even our hard to please teenagers were impressed. I highly recommend Rainforest Explorers!
Nice combination experience for a full day in Arenal. Tour guide was great and the lunch was fantastic . It rained during the hanging bridges but added to the rainforest effect !
We thoroughly enjoyed our combination tour of hanging bridges, Aernal Volcano and the waterfall. Edgar and Francisco were incredible. It was very clear they wanted us to have the best experience. I was a bit worried the tour would be too long for our kids but they were engaged the entire time. The breaks between activities with food recharged everyone’s batteries for the next tour. The pick up was so convenient. This was our favorite day of the trip.
