Peter, our host, was great! Super knowledgeable throughout the experience, very kind and funny & made a true effort to make sure I was doing good and feeling included since I was traveling solo.
Incredible experience, lots of information and sight seeing. Our guide Graeme was very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged. My only thing is that it was too little time in Oban… then again, that’s not the tours fault (we knew beforehand). Don’t spend too much time on lunch, instead grab a quick bite and enjoy as much as you can of this magical place. We did an unplanned stop to see the hairy cows… extra points for that :). The weather was in our favor, lots of sun and nice temperatures. Highly recommended!!!
We went on this tour from Glasgow, Nicola was our tour guide. I have been to a few tours, I really enjoyed Nicola’s guidance, she had an in-depth perspective on history and her cultural intelligence which combined with safe driving made it a pleasant journey. Visiting the iconic regions of Glencoe Loch Lomond Inveraray and Oban was a treat. Thank you Rabbies for curating a fantastic tour
Had such a nice experience and the guide Hannah was absolutely incredible and really brightened the trip.
Scenery is fabulous. Driver, James, was very knowledgeable but also entertaining and funny. The tour is all about the scenery. Don’t expect a lot of time in the towns for shopping.
We left Glasgow Bus Station at 8:30 AM for a full-day tour of the Scottish Highlands. Our first stop was Loch Lomond in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, where we enjoyed the beautiful lakeside scenery before continuing our journey. The next stop was the historic Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains—a perfect place for photographs. We then visited the charming town of Inveraray. A pleasant walk of about half a mile each way brought us to the magnificent Inveraray Castle, where we admired its beautiful exterior and took plenty of photographs. The town itself has several restaurants, cafés, and public restrooms, making it a convenient stop. Our next major stop was the picturesque seaside town of Oban, where we had lunch. After lunch, we hiked up to McCaig's Tower. The round trip took about 30 minutes, and it was well worth the effort. The Colosseum-like structure, along with its peaceful garden and spectacular views over Oban Harbour, made it one of the highlights of the day. On the return journey, we passed through the breathtaking Glencoe Valley. Surrounded by dramatic mountains and stunning Highland scenery, Glencoe is undoubtedly a must-visit destination for anyone traveling from Glasgow. We returned to Glasgow around 7:30 PM after a long but thoroughly enjoyable day. The tour was well organized, covered a variety of Scotland's most iconic landscapes, and provided an excellent introduction to the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.
Amazing landscapes at Glencoe and Loch Lomond. Our guide Jimmy was both knowledgeable and funny and I really enjoyed the tour.
We lucked out with Graeme as our tour guide! We had the best day on our 1 day tour to Oban. Graeme kept everyone engaged and entertained plus we learned so much about the history and culture of Scotland. Graeme geared many facts and stories to the personal interests of his guests and was very accommodating. One highlight was being able to see the hairy coos!
Overall it was good tour with rich experience of highlands of Scotland The van was good as well as the driver cum guide
We were a group of 36 people with a 2:15 PM reservation; they didn't start with the appetizers until after 3:00 PM (quite a few were missing from being served), 1st courses were changed because they had run out (some took more than 10 minutes to be served again), 2nd courses DITTO, we finished eating around 5:15 PM, still missing desserts and coffees. I asked for some shots to compensate, as a gift, and they served them reluctantly, and they charged €9.60 for the last 6 coffees that had NOT been served before... This complaint is directed at management for their lack of empathy; the waiters did what they could.
Hi, Thanks for taking the time to write this review. However, I think that you meant to write this review for a restaurant rather than for Rabbie's tour. This is just a wee oversight, and it seems like you went on a Oban, Glencoe & Highlands tour with us and I hope that you enjoyed your time on the road with us. We'd love to know more about your experience during your Rabbie's tour, so don't hesitate to change the review or write to us directly with more details. All the best, Camille
