Il tour inizia nella più grande città della Nuova Zelanda. Mentre usciamo dalla città, la tua guida non solo preparerà la scena per la tua avventura oggi, ma ti indicherà e ti guiderà anche attraverso alcuni dei punti salienti della città.

Arrivando alla seconda attrazione caratteristica "Hobbiton", salirai a bordo di uno dei grandi autobus verdi Hobbiton e partirai per un tour di due ore e mezza completamente Guidato di questo fantastico set cinematografico di 12 acri con una guida Hobbiton professionista per assicurarti di ottenere il massimo dalla tua visita. Durante il tuo tour fai un passo nei lussureggianti pascoli della Contea, visita 44 tane di hobbit, guarda splendidi giardini, ascolta i segreti e le storie sulla realizzazione dei film e goditi una bevanda gratuita fredda al famoso pub di Hobbiton "La pensione Green Dragon".
Questo splendido lago ospita una delle prime dighe idroelettriche della Nuova Zelanda e dove si allenano alcuni dei grandi rematori neozelandesi. Con splendide viste sul lago e sulla campagna, è un ottimo posto per una breve pausa e alcune foto.
Purtroppo dopo Hobbiton dobbiamo ricominciare a dirigerci a nord, ma la giornata non è finita con un viaggio di ritorno completamente guidato ad Auckland, comprese le soste segrete lungo la strada.

Dave was an excellent driver guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He always had a smile on his face. The guide at Hobbiton was also great, no rush so we had enough time to enjoy the sights. He had a fine sense of humor, and was knowledgeable and obviously a fan of the LOTR. Wish we had more time at Waitomo, but the guide was funny and well informed, and it was still a good experience. Overall we definitely recommend this tour. Hope you will have the great weather as we had— sunny July winter in New Zealand

While a 5:45 am pick up was very early, seeing Hobbiton and the Waitomo Glowworm Caves made it totally worth it. Matt was an excellent guide - he pointed out interesting sites and had good stories. He handled pick up at about 6 hotels (?) after our pick up (there were people in the van when we were picked up) smooth and relatively painless. Hobbiton was a real treat - especially for a LOTR/Hobbit fan (me) however, my husband enjoyed it too. The glowworms were special - definitely something I will remember forever.

Viator and the company gave such great help and advice every step of the booking. The tour company were excellent, on time, tour leader Grant was helpful, kind, just the right amount of chatty and informative and the locations were amazing. Hobbiton was absolutely a highlight of our trip, the most magical and yet professionally run place imaginable. Even in the rain, with golf umbrellas provided! The caves were likewise magic. Be aware that there is a decent amount of walking and negotiating smallish hills, rough ground and steps. I'm a bit lacking in mobility but it is so worth it to push past it, and staff are very supportive! Highly recommend all aspects of the booking.
