Il nostro tour è la nuova esperienza Hobbiton estesa (ora 2,5 ore) in cui puoi avventurarti oltre la porta in un interno Hobbit Hole completamente a tema. Immergiti nell'interno con ingresso, camere da letto, bagno, cucina, zona pranzo, bagno attrezzato, salotto e camino scoppiettante. Lasciati affascinare dal magico mondo di Hobbiton che prende vita e scatta foto davanti ai tuoi luoghi preferiti come Hobbit Holes, Shire e la pensione Green Dragon. Poi viaggia verso le famose grotte Waitomo Glowworm e lasciati affascinare dalle migliaia di magici vermi scintillanti nelle grotte, dalle stalattiti e dalle stalagmiti mentre scivoli silenziosamente attraverso la grotta in barca. Dopo aver lasciato Auckland, viaggerete a sud oltre le Bombay Hills mentre vi godrete viste panoramiche elevate sulla regione di Waikato e viaggerete attraverso le pittoresche pianure di Hauraki fino a Matamata, la casa del set cinematografico di Hobbiton.
Inizia con un tour attraverso la pittoresca fattoria di pecore di 1.250 acri con viste spettacolari sulle Kaimai Ranges. This trip was AMAZING!! My tour guide Mike was great from the get-go. Very welcoming, used my preferred name, made sure the drive comfortable for us all. Pickup was seamless, everyone was friendly and I ended up making some friends on the tour. 10/10!!
Was a fabulous day. Our guide Liam was excellent and made surebhe got to know everyone in the group. Despite bucketing rain, Hobbiton was amazing and didnt think it could get any better, but glow worm caves were very special.

This was one of the best tours I have ever done. Our tour guide Rachel was such a good guide and such a lovely, friendly and intelligent woman. Hobbiton was out of this world and the caves were so magical. I’d do it again tomorrow if I could. The stop for an early coffee as the sun came up and then another stop for Hokey Pokey ice-cream at sunrise was the cherry on top. The peaceful music playing on the bus was fab as were all the facts we got along the way! It was my first day in NZ and I was blown away by how sound and kind and genuine Kiwis are. I had an unforgettable day💚💚

A very worthwhile day trip from Auckland. Our guide/driver was punctual with pick up and all of our stops. The tour started with a brief bathroom stop before arriving at Hobbiton. Our driver gave us tickets and clear instructions on our bus time to get into Hobbiton, which gave us time for bathroom break and shop at the gift shop. The Hobbiton tour is done by their staff while our guide waited and picked us up at the end of the tour. Amazing experience with our Hobbiton guide very knowledgeable of the set, followed by a brief break at the Green Dragon Inn with a complimentary drink. Afterwards we had provided lunch at a diner-like stop. You're allowed a select drink and two select plates (pies, sandwiches, cakes, etc.). Then we drove straight to Waitomo Caves where similarly their staff does the tour while our driver waits. Note that pictures and videos are not allowed in the caves, which is unfortunate but understandable. It was my birthday and we were able to sing happy birthday in the cathedral part of the cave with good acoustics, which would have been nice to record. The boat ride itself was quite magical as it was very dark and like looking at the stars. After the tour, we had a brief bathroom stop at a local honey store before going straight back to Auckland. Great day overall!

I sense you had a very special experience that you will treasure and cherish for a long, long time. Yes, you cannot take photos in the part of the Caves where the glowworms are as if everyone is flashing lights, you won't see anything, but also the glowworms react negatively to light and will turn their lights totally off and then it takes about 2 hours for them to return to their full luminescence, so spoils the experience for the next visitors.
