Itinerario
All'inizio del tuo viaggio, puoi sentire il respiro della natura nella città di Okutama. La prima parte del viaggio attraverserà la valle di Hatonosu. Al ponte Unzen puoi goderti il magnifico scenario unico di Okutama. L'aria fresca che scende dalle montagne a valle spazzerà via rapidamente la sonnolenza mattutina e l'aria viziata che si è accumulata a lungo nell'auto.
Alla prima destinazione, farai gli esercizi mattutini. La Grotta Nippara è una delle grotte calcaree che rappresentano la regione del Kanto. In alcuni punti ci sono luci che creano uno scenario fantastico. Mentre cammini attraverso la grotta lunga circa 1 km, puoi sentire l'età attraverso le stalattiti che si sono formate nel corso di molte migliaia di anni.
Il tour ti porterà intorno al lago. Il lago Okutama è uno dei laghi rappresentativi del Giappone. Puoi goderti il magnifico scenario di ogni stagione proprio davanti ai tuoi occhi.
Dopo il giro in riva al lago, visiteremo un punto in cima alla montagna da cui potrete godere di una vista spettacolare sul lago e sulle montagne. Faremo un semplice picnic qui. Pranzeremo con un pranzo al sacco kamameshi a base di verdure coltivate localmente e saluteremo la città di Okutama.
Dopo pranzo ci riposeremo in macchina durante gli spostamenti. Entreremo nel villaggio di Hinohara conservando la nostra resistenza per le attività pomeridiane. Il villaggio di Hinohara è l'unico villaggio di Tokyo a non essere molto conosciuto nemmeno tra i residenti di Tokyo. Insieme a Okutama Town, è il villaggio più immerso nella natura di Tokyo. Il cipresso di questo villaggio è diventato un marchio.
Qui visiteremo la casa tradizionale giapponese. Puoi scoprire come le persone in passato vivevano in un ambiente difficile. Per tornare a casa uso la monorotaia da alpinismo. Puoi goderti la vista spettacolare salendo su un ripido pendio di 43 gradi.
Qui cammineremo attraverso la valle. Le Kanoto Rocks sono due grandi rocce con superficie storica. Cammineremo lungo la sponda del fiume che scorre vigoroso tra le rocce. Lo scenario misterioso e le strade emozionanti ti faranno dimenticare di essere a Tokyo.
Finale, andremo a vedere una cascata. Le cascate Hossawa sono una delle cascate rappresentative del Giappone. Si tratta di una cascata lunga 60 metri divisa in 4 gradini. L'area attorno al bacino della cascata è circondata da un'abbondanza di ioni negativi. In inverno si può vedere lo "Hyobaku" dove l'intera cascata ghiaccia.

I wanted to do a nature tour that was not your typical Japan tour, and thankfully Ayumu provided us with a unique and wonderful itinerary. If it weren’t for Ayumu, my family (4 including 2 teens) and I would not have seen another side of Japan that is so beautiful and serene. The highlights of his tour are the mysterious caves, one-of-a-kind monorail train, the Kobayashi cultural house, the adventurous river walk, and delicious traditional lunch. To our pleasant surprise, there were hardly any people at the places we visited in Okutama, so the lack of crowds and tourists were a big plus. Ayumu was very respectful, professional, and kind, always giving us time and space to soak in everything we saw. He drove safely, yet got us to each destination promptly. His van was very comfortable, clean, and spacious for the four of us. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited, managed the time well, and organized the activities (pickup, bathroom breaks, breakfast, lunch, dropoff, etc.) very well. Ayumu was also very helpful and made us feel safe. Needless to say, my family agree that we would do this tour again the next time we visit Japan…it was that great! It’s easily one of the best and most memorable things we did during our trip to Japan! Thank you so much, Ayumu!!

We highly recommend this experience. From booking communications were excellent. Meeting point directions were accurate and easy. Our guide was punctual and friendly. He had an extensive knowledge of the Okutama region which he shared throughout the trip. He was also happy to answer our many random questions about Japan in general. Travelling in a small group we were able to squeeze more sites and experiences into the day. The region is beautiful and worth a visit. The picnic lunch was delicious!

This was an amazing experience and well worth the money.. a wonderful tour guide and places seen.. so nice to get out to see the real Japan. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those travelling solo. An experience like no other and things you’d never see otherwise…

Cool tour if you’re into nature and seeing spots outside of the city! Our group was small but I enjoyed that it was a bit more intimate. Going through the cave was interesting and getting to the top of the mountain gave us such a beautiful view of the area! Our guide, Ayumu, was awesome and very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as kinda and personable. The people who lived in the area were so much more welcoming than anywhere else I’ve been in Japan (but to be fair, I’ve only gone to three different cities). Would definitely recommend!

Excellent tour especially if you want to go sightseeing outside of the busy Tokyo area. Our guide was great and the tour only had four of us. We had two nights at Haneda Airport and had a spare day. Our guide picked us up from our airport hotel which was fantastic. Be prepared for a long day but well worth it.
