Questa visita combina un tour a piedi attraverso il centro storico di Arequipa, conoscendo la sua storia, alcuni dei suoi luoghi turistici più importanti e combinandolo alla fine con la degustazione e la spiegazione del nostro distillato nazionale, il Pisco. Abbiamo anche assaggiato alcuni frutti locali e il nostro dessert emblematico, Frozen Cheese. Un modo diverso per conoscere Arequipa in spagnolo e inglese (è possibile anche in francese ma previo coordinamento)

Itinerario
Quartiere tradizionale di Arequipa, il primo luogo in cui si stabilirono i conquistatori al loro arrivo nella zona.
Prima di arrivare in questo luogo passiamo dal Convento di Santa Catalina e dalla strada omonima, nella Plaza de San Francisco apprezziamo l'imponente struttura della sua Chiesa e il centro artigianale Fundo el Fierro.
L'incontro avrà luogo in questo luogo, dopo le indicazioni precedenti, inizia parlando della fondazione della città, il cambiamento che ha subito nel corso del tempo a causa di terremoti, la Cattedrale, e altri dettagli che evoca memoria. Armi quadrato.
Su un lato della Plaza de Armas si trova l'antico complesso della Compagnia di Gesù. La Chiesa e i Chiostri. La Chiesa si distingue per la facciata barocca, l'interno sobrio e gli altari rivestiti in foglia d'oro.
Uno dei mercati più vari e interessanti che esistono in Perù. Un luogo ideale per vedere i prodotti offerti nella regione, tuberi, carni, frutta, tra gli altri.
Ex chiostro della scuola e del convento dei Gesuiti. Il miglior esempio di architettura religiosa vicereale della città.

I had a great time and a lot more about Arequipa than I was expecting. We visited the Llama museum where I learned a lot about Llamas and other Camel species, as well as about pre incan civilizations. Really enjoyed getting in-depth information about the food in the market and the history of Arequipa. Daniel really did a fantastic job. He was great.
We had a wonderful time with Jose : he really knows the city well and told us great anecdotes about the city. The market visit was our highlight: we tried different fruits and meals and kids absolutely loved it! I definitely recommend the tour.
Juan our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable . The tour took a little longer than he planned because I was suffering a knee injury. He did not rush and gave me plenty of opportunities to rest.
Daniel was enthusiastic and very informative. He answered all our questions anout a wide range of subjects and helped us shop at the market. He clearly loves his pisco and we had a great time interacting with him! The pic is of my favorite pisco

Jose was a great tour guide. We visited the local market and sampled many fruit I hadn’t seen before, plus “stuffed potato” and the famous Queso Helado. We also walked around many of the lovely colonial era streets and learnt about the history of Arequipa. The 3 hour tour ended with a Pisco tasting which was also very interesting.
Such a great afternoon with a brilliant and interesting guide! We discovered new streets and alleys and lots about history, culture etc. Do this!
