We loved this tour, Paul is an excellent guide and we have wonderful time understanding the landscape of Vancouver.
What a great way to get to know Vancouver! Starting out in trendy Granville Island, a comfortable, high speed zodiac whisks you on a guided tour that gives you a real taste of the diversity of living and working in this vibrant port city. From the condos of downtown Vancouver and English Bay, past the tall trees of Stanley Park and the multitude of Seawall walkers, joggers and bicyclists, under Lions Gate Bridge and into the working port of Vancouver: ships at anchor waiting outside the harbour, sea planes taking off an landing, bright yellow sulphur piles and fascinating cranes loaded and unloading giant container ships. Beautiful views of Canada Place and the cruise ships...then next thing you know it feels like you're a million miles away from civilization as you enter the Indian Arm glacial fjord and are surrounded by vast swaths of coniferous forest broken only occasionally by small clusters of homes and cottages accessible only by water. Two lovely waterfalls (Granite Falls and Silver Falls) afford great photo opportunities from the gently rocking boat and perhaps you'll see a seal or some jelly fish in this steep-walled saltwater channel cut by glaciers. After reaching the head of the fjord it's back the way you came, gently rocked by the speeding boat and before you know it you're back at Granville Island with the rest of the day open for shopping and dining - what a perfect mixture for a perfect day! I went on a warm June day which mean my "survival" suit was barely necessary, but half zipped it did keep my legs nice and warm and protected from the wind as we sped along. The zodiac was incredibly comfortable, really fast and very steady, no problems there, although I do recommend taking sun screen since the light reflected off the water definitely gave me some colour!
We had a WONDERFUL tour with James! The scenery is AMAZING, the boat ride was so much fun and we were lucky to see some beautiful wildlife!
An excellent three hour tour of Vancouver in his zodiac boat! Fantastic guides, well organized, and great way to see Vancouver from the water.
My partner, sister, brother-in-law and I went on the Granite Falls Zodiac Tour the afternoon of June 7. Marco was our driver and guide. We had a blast! The company provides each person a full-body suit that makes you feel like an astronaut or arctic explorer, but keeps you toasty and dry. The tour itself was so much fun, a high speed boat ride up a fjord to areas that can only be reached by water. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous! And Marco was a warm and attentive host, making sure we were all comfortable and having a good time. A highlight was seeing orcas in the Vancouver Harbour! The whole experience felt magical and is one that we will treasure for a lifetime. Highly recommend this tour! ... Thank you, Marco!

Don’t miss this tour. Our family loved this experience! Captain Sam was awesome, informative and fun. The scenery was amazing. Wear the suit even when it’s in the low 70s. Enjoy!
