Goditi una gita di un giorno in tre delle destinazioni più iconiche della Toscana: Montalcino, patria del famoso vino Brunello; Pienza, rinomata per il suo formaggio Pecorino; e Montepulciano, noto per il suo prestigioso vino Nobile. Viaggia attraverso la Val d'Orcia, patrimonio dell'UNESCO, a bordo di un minivan premium con aria condizionata, autista di lingua Inglese e acqua gratuita. Esperienza in piccoli gruppi, massimo 8 partecipanti. Da novembre ad aprile, e in caso di maltempo, il pranzo si svolgerà al coperto. Per i tour in partenza il lunedì, il pranzo viene sempre servito in un ristorante al coperto. 08:30: Incontra il nostro autista di lingua inglese e lascia che il tour abbia inizio!
09:45: La prima tappa sarà in una grande cantina di Montalcino... La cantina è di proprietà di una famiglia locale e, parlando con loro, non avrete la sensazione di visitare il loro posto di lavoro ma la loro casa invece!...Saprete tutto sul Brunello di Montalcino: le tecniche di vigna, il processo di vinificazione, il suo invecchiamento e, naturalmente, come apprezzarlo bevendo annate diverse!
11:30: Godetevi una breve sosta di 15 minuti per godervi il castello di Montalcino e il suo piccolo centro città.
12:15PM: Arrivati a Pienza, borgo papale famoso per il suo formaggio pecorino, avrete la possibilità di gustare un pranzo di qualità superiore in un ex convento del XV secolo e un po’ di tempo libero.
2:45PM: Qui saremo guidati attraverso una cantina storica chiamata "La città sotterranea" che si trova al piano inferiore di un'enoteca locale. All'uscita dalla città sotterranea sarete accolti da una degustazione di vino e altre specialità alimentari. Prima di partire faremo in modo di avere abbastanza tempo per visitare la piazza principale, posta sulla parte alta del paese, da dove potrete scattare le ultime foto!

Beautiful scenery, lots of hilly walking, lots of time in 2 wineries & eating lunch. Villages exquisite but too much time on other pleasures

We had a great day. Mike was our driver and very knowledgeable with history and explained many things as we went from town to town. The wineries chosen were great! The guides there were wonderful, took their time to explain everything. We really enjoyed the experience.

We had a great experience! Our driver Sal was friendly, engaging and personable. He gave us lots of interesting facts about the area and was prompt and careful to make sure we knew what was going on. Our only issue was there was a little too much emphasis on the wine tasting and not enough time to see and explore the towns of Pienza and Montepulciano. The drive by Montalcino was no more than a “drive by” to get to the winery. We would suggest a little better balance between the exploring the hill towns and the wineries.
