Great knowledgeable guide. Interesting walk through Siena before finishing inside the Duomo
We were lucky that two neighborhoods were celebrating their patron saint's day that day and processions were taking place. Our guide explained the thinking of the locals, which is very foreign to us, in a detailed and understandable way from an insider's perspective. She was authentic, competent, and answered all questions. Great praise
We learned a lot from Sylvia which we didn't know especially about the Contrada and the effect of the plague.

Our tour with Elio was truly wonderful. He explained the history and culture of Siena in such an interesting and entertaining way that the two and a half hours flew by. We learned so much about the stories and historical meaning behind the places we visited, which gave us a much deeper appreciation of Siena. We gained a lot of meaningful knowledge that will make the rest of our trip even more special. Elio was friendly, engaging, and an excellent guide. Highly recommended!

This is the perfect tour of Siena both in time and in scope. It is one of the few that gives you entrance into both the Basilica of San Domenico with St. Catherine of Siena's relics, and the Duomo. The slightly over two hours gives you the highlights of this beautiful and interesting city. Our guide, Elio, was knowledgable as well as quite entertaining. Highly recommended!
