Benvenuti nella nuova e più ampia sede di Vivonte, a un solo isolato da Central Park verso l'oceano. La nostra è un'esperienza educativa che ti accompagna attraverso l'intero processo di fabbricazione dei sigari dal seme al sigaro. Panoramica del tour: • Una breve storia dell'industria dei sigari dominicana e come si è sviluppata dalla rivoluzione cubana. • Il processo di semina, coltivazione del grande tabacco da sigaro, raccolta, essiccazione/concia e preparazione del tabacco da trasformare in sigari (compresa una spiegazione del processo di fermentazione). • Spieghiamo il processo di invecchiamento del tabacco e dei sigari e l'effetto che questi processi hanno sul prodotto finale. • Dimostriamo come è fatto un sigaro, i tre componenti di un sigaro e cosa cercare nella costruzione di un sigaro. • Dimostriamo come accendere e fumare correttamente un sigaro. • I clienti sono invitati nella nostra sala di invecchiamento e spieghiamo l'effetto dell'ambiente, della temperatura e dell'umidità come parte del processo di creazione di un sigaro raffinato.

Ritiriamo da tutte le località della provincia di Puerto Plata, tra cui Sosua e Cabarete. Le nostre tariffe di trasporto sono in genere la metà del costo delle tariffe offerte dai taxi locali che vogliono anche dirottarti per ricevere commissioni da altri fornitori.

This amazing place offered a lot of knowledge and time flew by. I helped roll a cigar and had a great conversation with the general manager. I’ll order my cigars from here from now on.

Magnificent Cigar experience!!! Very nice cigar lounge downstairs with walk in humidor and cigar production upstairs. The tour took about 30 minutes and we got to roll our own cigars. Highly recommended!!

If you take a taxi to the store, the visit is free. The ride provided meant we had to walk about 3/4 of a mile to get to the driver. Taxis are closer.

If you are into the world of cigars or just a little bit curious, this is a good experience. It’s close to port and reasonably priced. The people at Vivonte are very friendly and welcoming. We were treated very well and made to feel at home. Immediately greeted with smiles and wine and beer. Complimentary cigars to enjoy while being escorted through the boutique cigar manufacturing facility. We even got to have a little hands on experience making cigars. Our guide Vayron was knowledgeable and kind. In all, it was a great experience and I would happily take friends and family there again.

Incase you don't already know Glen passed away unexpectedly this past year. If you had been there in the past inevitably you met Glen and his son Sander, amazing people!
