Il primo giorno all'arrivo a Cusco consigliamo di fare il City Tour, la nostra agenzia organizza questo tour tutti i giorni. Questo tour ti offre una grande opportunità di vedere Cusco e le rovine più importanti in circolazione. Visiterete la Cattedrale di Cusco, il Tempio Koricancha e le Rovine intorno: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara e Tambomachay.

Itinerario
Nel pomeriggio 13:15 vi prenderemo in hotel per iniziare il City Tour a Cusco, il primo punto del tour, la Cattedrale di Cusco, situata nella piazza principale, molto famosa per i suoi dipinti e altro,
poi visiteremo il Tempio di Coricancha noto anche come "Tempio d'oro o Tempio del Dio Sole" era il tempio più importante per l'impero Inca sul quale fu costruito il convento di Santo Domingo nella colonia, poi visiteremo le 4 rovine vicino a Cusco:
Il sito archeologico di Sacsayhuaman, è strategicamente costruito su una montagna da cui è possibile apprezzare una vista dell'intera città di Cusco. È famoso per le sue enormi pietre scolpite, alcune delle quali alte 9 metri o 30 piedi e del peso di oltre 350 tonnellate, in questo luogo si tiene ogni anno l'Inti Raymi o Festival del Sole.
Poi visiterai il sito archeologico di Kenko, significa labirinto o zigzag, aveva una funzione puramente religiosa e dove si crede che gli Inca mummificassero i loro morti, all'esterno ha un anfiteatro a forma semicircolare con nicchie trapezoidali e un monolite che simula una forma di puma che ha circa sei metri. Poi andremo al sito di Puka Pukara che significa "fortezza rossa" perché le pietre calcaree degli edifici di questo sito hanno acquisito il colore rossastro del terreno. Questo posto aveva la funzione di proteggere Tambomachay, un importante palazzo nel tempo degli Incas. E anche per la sua disposizione architettonica e l'esistenza di fonti, acquedotti e recinti multipli, sarebbe stato un "tambo", una loggia collettiva che offriva cibo e alloggio all'entourage che accompagnava l'Inka nel suo ritiro a Tambomachay.
Come ultimo punto visiteremo il sito archeologico di Tambomachay, situato a circa 8 km. a nord di Cusco e vicino alle rovine di Puka Pucara, è un sito Inca che si ritiene fosse dedicato all'adorazione dell'acqua e dove il Leader dell'Impero Inca si fermasse. Questo posto è anche chiamato Inca Baths e consiste in una serie di acquedotti, canali e diverse cascate che attraversano le rocce. Alla fine torneremo in autobus a Cusco. Intorno 18: 30-19: 00 ore.

It was a great experience, the tour operator are helpful. Katheryn Vargas helped me in giving me solid advice and useful suggestion for my trip in Cusco and Saqsaywaman, sacred Valley and Machiu Picchu. Don't be misunderstood by the their low price, they actually provided very good services and great group tour compared to other more premium options given their price point.
