Pour clarifier : il ne s’agissait pas d’une visite guidée avec un accompagnateur sur place, ni d’un point de rendez-vous avec un panneau ou une personne à trouver. TouringBee propose une visite audio numérique autoguidée, à utiliser dans notre application sur votre propre smartphone. Les instructions d’activation sont envoyées par email après la réservation, et la visite se lance directement dans l’application. Aucun représentant de Viator ou de TouringBee n’est donc censé attendre près de Notre-Dame — même en cherchant très sérieusement. Si vous n’avez pas réussi à activer l’audioguide, écrivez-nous à support@touringbee.com avec vos détails de réservation. Notre équipe répond rapidement et pourra vérifier votre cas.

We’re sorry the audioguide turned into a “where are the headphones?” detective story. TouringBee is a digital self-guided audio tour: it works through our app on your own phone, with your own headphones. No mystery box, no counter with equipment, no secret cathedral headset department — just the app, the audio, and your device. The product description states that headphones are not included, but we understand this detail can be easy to miss when booking quickly. If the guide was difficult to activate or use, please contact us at support@touringbee.com. Our team responds quickly and can help you access it or review your case. The audioguide remains available for 1 year from the purchase date, so it has not vanished into the cathedral vaults.
The tickets were not accepted and the entrance where we were supposed to get access to Notre Dame was closed. I would like a refund for tickets.

To clarify: this TouringBee product is a digital self-guided audio tour, not an entrance ticket to Notre-Dame. The title also says “no ticket”, so there was nothing that cathedral staff needed to accept — no barcode, no magic pass, no secret key to the cathedral doors. Access to Notre-Dame, opening hours, and closed entrances are managed by the cathedral, not by TouringBee. Our audio guide works on your smartphone and can be used outside, around the cathedral, or later — it remains available for 1 year from purchase. If you believe there was still a booking issue, please contact us at support@touringbee.com with your order details, and our team will review the case quickly.
One more thing I really like about audio guides is that they don’t disappear after the visit. My time at Notre-Dame felt very quick, and honestly, I left with the feeling that I had missed a lot and didn’t really remember enough. Maybe it was the day, maybe the place itself, maybe just me. But that is exactly why this format works so well for me: the guide stays on my phone, and I can listen to it again later, as many times as I need. The information collected by the authors is genuinely interesting, and the way it is told makes it easy to listen to. I never loved history that much when I was younger, but with guides like this, I actually enjoy hearing it.

Notre Dame does not accept Viator audio tours, so it was horrible and embarrassing and I had to do what I should have done in the first place - buy the tours on site.

I bought 2 tickets to visit Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. €15 for the 2 tickets. Upon arriving at the Cathedral, I was told that only tickets from the official cathedral website were valid. I was not given a special tour. And I spent €15 for nothing. IT'S A SCAM

Know that the audio service is only online— NOT to be found at the cathedral!!!🙁 We expected to find audio headphones when we got to the cathedral.

There’s no physical pickup point and no equipment to collect at the cathedral. The good news: your audio guide remains available for 1 year from purchase, so you can still use it another time — no cathedral headphone treasure hunt required.

Notre Dame visit is a must. But unfortunately we couldn’t locate the pick up point for the headsets. We enjoyed the visit anyway. We could have paid for headsets inside the cathedral.
I paid for 2 for entry on the day and was given a link to the Cathedral site which was fully booked so a waste of money. The Cathedral simply aims to stagger entries and by going early we entered easily. They do not accept the pass I had been issued with. Nor do they like the audio guide that was a download for one phone. Entry is free and the Cathedral issues their own audio guides where the money goes to the Cathedral which is what we bought. They do not want people to use Viator or similar booking sites and there is no need.
