A soli 40 minuti da Lisbona, vi invitiamo a scoprire la ricca regione vinicola di Setúbal. In questo tour esclusivo visiterai due cantine locali, dove scoprirai la storia delle tenute, delle famiglie che le hanno fondate e delle tradizioni che conservano ancora oggi. Durante le visite avrete la possibilità di degustare da 6 a 7 vini diversi, tra cui l'esclusivo Moscatel Roxo de Setúbal, e potrete acquistare i vostri vini preferiti direttamente nei punti vendita delle cantine. Le cantine possono variare a seconda della disponibilità. Un'azienda familiare con quasi due secoli di storia che, senza mai riposare sulle glorie conquistate, ha saputo modernizzarsi. José Maria da Fonseca gestisce il vino dal 1834, frutto della comune passione di una famiglia che ha preservato e proiettato la memoria e il prestigio del suo fondatore. Consapevole della responsabilità di essere il più antico produttore di vino da tavola e Moscatel de Setúbal in Portogallo, José Maria da Fonseca ha una filosofia di sviluppo permanente, che lo fa investire sempre di più nella ricerca e di produzione, combinando le tecniche più moderne con le conoscenze tradizionali. Un esempio di questo è l'Adega José de Sousa Rosado Fernandes, a Reguengos de Monsaraz, nell'Alentejo, dove la tradizione romana di fermentazione in vasi di terracotta è al passo con le ultime tecnologie.
Nel 1997, Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal, allora noto come JP Vinhos, si è trasferito da Pinhal Novo alla regione vinicola di Azeitão, nel cuore della penisola di Setúbal e si trasferisce in un edificio emblematico progettato e costruito da António d'Avillez , simbolo di modernità ancorato alla tradizione. L'edificio è un esagono vetrato dove sono state trovate soluzioni innovative di design ed esecuzione, sia nella zona della cantina che in ufficio, rivelando creatività e senso di efficienza dove sposano l'ambiente magico e tradizionale delle cantine dove giacciono migliaia di bottiglie e una vera e propria armata di barili di vino.

We had an amazing wine tasting tour with Pedro, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! Pedro was incredibly knowledgeable about Portuguese wines, the history behind them, and the winemaking process. He explained everything in a way that was informative, engaging, and easy to understand. Beyond his expertise, Pedro was warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun to spend time with. His great sense of humor kept the group entertained, and he went above and beyond by taking wonderful photos of my friend and me throughout the tour. As a special surprise, he even created a beautiful photo montage afterward, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Pedro’s passion for sharing his knowledge and ensuring everyone had a fantastic experience truly stood out. If you have the opportunity to take a wine tasting tour with him, don’t hesitate—you’ll leave with great memories, a deeper appreciation for Portuguese wine, and probably a few laughs along the way. Pedro was absolutely delightful. He was everything you would want in a tour guide - very knowledgeable and accommodating- while having such an attitude and disposition. We had a wonderful time with him and at each of the vineyards. The staff and grounds of each were immaculate and the tours were so well done. We enjoyed everything from start to finish! Great tour. Ana was a brilliant guide and it was unexpected to effectively have a private tour to the vineyards with no one else in the car. The 2 vineyards we visited were interesting, especially the slightly strange African art addition at 1, and the wine was pretty tasty!

We had a wonderful day! Pedro picked us up super flexibly in Lisbon and drove us to two great wineries. The tasting of the regional wines was excellent, and Pedro was a fantastic addition to the local guides. That he also dropped us off directly at the restaurant afterward was a great extra service. Absolutely recommendable, would love to do it again!

Pedro picked us up promptly and drove us to Setúbal. He was very charismatic and knowledgeable of the region and process, and took us from vineyard to vineyard. The wines were quite good, and the vineyards were beautiful and interesting. Although we booked a small group tour, it was effectively private, as no one else was in the car, which was very nice. Highly recommend for an afternoon from Lisbon.
