Tour del vino di Napa Valley e Sonoma

David is was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the area. He booked us a fantastic tasting at Fortunati (our favorite stop) and stopped at any other wineries we wanted to see along the way! Our group highly recommends David as he’s very accommodating, adaptable, and an overall amazing tour guide!

Based on others reviews, Adam must have had an off day. Two weeks prior to our trip, I had requested visits to small family wineries. The first stop did not disappoint. The second stop was at Caymus…we were dropped off for 90 minutes and told there was no tasting set up but we could purchase a glass of wine and walk around…not what we had hoped for based on the activity description. After a fast lunch we went to Whitehall Lane…we were told that we were being “squeezed in”as the reservation was made so late the night before that we would have a shortened tasting but would only be charged half price. I had hoped we would have been given some history of Napa and/or the wine industry as we drove but were only offered answers to questions we asked. The van was fine for the six people but unfortunately was not able to play any music or connect to our phones for a playlist. It made for some quiet driving…not the fun vibe I’d hoped for. I would recommend confirming the tasting locations prior to your trip date to be sure that they are set up and they are to the types wineries you had hoped to visit.

What a great time for six friends in the Sonoma Valley! David is so nice and patient, and he chose great wineries for us. He's very knowledgeable about the area, and the van was very comfortable & clean. We wish we would have had him drive us in Napa Valley also. Highly tecommended by all siz of us!

Our driver David was so awesome. I would recommend hiring him to anyone. He was very accommodating to our group and knowledgeable about the area and wineries that we visited.

Excellent tour with a very kind tour guide. We added a stop and learned a lot about the industry. The first wine stop was fortunate which was so personal, a true family owned property and the man teaching it was fun and laid back. The cheese and tasting was everyone’s favorite. Peju was so historical with an excellent guide. He even sang opera for us! The last place I can not remember because he dropped off some wine and left. Not the same level as the others but all in all very good choices. Worth the money and a fun day for all.

We had an amazing day with David! Everything was planned out, the van was clean and cool with the AC going- it was a hot day in Napa- and there was water waiting for us. David has great knowledge of the valley and you can tell how much he loves his job as he takes great care with the day set up. He was responsive and easy to get a hold of. The wineries we went to were great, they didn't break the bank and we had amazing quality wine. The stop at Oakville grocery was a fun bonus and honestly haven't seen anything like that place before! I would recommend to anyone who appreciates quality service and wine stops you won't find easily on your own

David was extremely knowledgeable of the area and wineries. He had lots of fun facts and details to tie everything all together. We allowed David to plan our stops at more "family-owned" establishments. We have an excellent time with the choices he made for us and we ended up visiting a winery which became a new fav!

David created a customized tour for 3 generations of my family. It was perfect! We started at a boutique winery with cheese pairings, had lunch with a plethora of tasting options at Oakville grocery and wine merchant and wrapped up at a slightly larger boutique winery in the Stags Leap region. David is exceptionally knowledgeable of the region’s history, geography and oenology. We will definitely book again when we come back to Napa Valley.

David was a great guide! Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He added lots of historical perspective during the rides between wineries. We would definitely recommend him if you are looking to make a trip to Napa and need a driver.
