Con oltre 300 camere, nove bagni e due moschee decorate con squisite piastrelle, l'Harem mette in mostra l'opulenza ottomana dal XVI al XIX secolo. So so so much information! The guide was very knowledgeable about the palace as well as the history of Istanbul and Turkiyae. Once in awhile I’d want the guide to take a breath and let me think about all that he just said and also time to ask questions. The guide was very good at communicating before the tour and helped by getting the entrance tickets in advance.

Topkapi is a unique historical and cultural site, and it is better to get a guide to learn about all the insights in this large area. Unal is a great guide. He is very experienced, knowledgeable, kind, and professional. He adapts his explanations to the curiosities and needs of his tourist group, offering interesting info and useful suggestions.

Highly recommended for first time visitors. Very good English, very informative, very attentive for 2.5 hours, very good value for money. Ticket fee for entrance is not included which suited better for us, as one of us didn’t need a foreign ticket (other tours seem to be charging only foreign tickets even I am Turkish). He already helps you accessing to the ticket office when you pay for your own.
The tour of Topkapi Palace that my 11-year-old daughter and I took together was a truly memorable experience, largely due to the exceptional knowledge and genuine enthusiasm of our guide, Unal Cakmak, also known as UNO. He did not merely convey historical facts; he narrated them in a manner tailored to my daughter's age and level of understanding, successfully engaging her throughout the day. He is both highly knowledgeable and genuinely warm-hearted. I would have no hesitation in recommending him, particularly for families with children.
Topkapi Palace is a must see Palace. My husband and I toured this morning with Unal, who was a good communicator from the moment I booked this tour to the end of the tour. His meeting place was clear. We had no problem finding him and he had a wealth of knowledge about the Palace and Istanbul. We learned the history of the palace. We toured on the morning g when it was not very crowded. Do not hesitate to book this tour with Unal. He’ll Not disappoint. We were the only ones on the tour today, Which made it even better.
