This was such a lovely way to experience Togoshi Ginza, one of Tokyo’s most charming neighborhood shopping streets. The food was absolutely delicious, with so many different flavours and textures to discover. Each stop felt like more than just something tasty to eat; we also got a little glimpse into the history, traditions, and food culture of Japan. What made the tour especially great was how accessible it was for everyone. Kids and picky eaters can find plenty to enjoy without feeling like they’ve been signed up for a culinary endurance test, while adults still get plenty of new and interesting flavours to explore! And then there’s Togoshi Ginza itself. Walking through the lively shotengai, seeing the local shops and everyday neighborhood life, and learning about the stories behind the food made the whole experience feel like a genuine adventure rather than a standard tourist tour. Warm, relaxed, delicious, and full of little discoveries. A wonderful way to experience the flavours and history of Japan while exploring the very local, very lively Togoshi Ginza.
We had a really great time on the food tour in Togoshi Ginza. It’s a beautiful and very clean part of Tokyo that doesn’t seem to get as many tourists. There are so many different shops, restaurants, and food stalls, so there was plenty to see and, most importantly, plenty to eat! The places we visited were carefully chosen, and everything we tried was delicious. It was a fun way to explore an area we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. Our guide, Olivier, was excellent. He was very well prepared, knew exactly where to take us, and took great care of the whole group. We never had to worry about where to go next, we just had to focus on eating! A really enjoyable experience and a great way to discover a different side of Tokyo. Highly recommended!
It was great! We got to try a variety of Japanese street food, my personal highlight was the takoyaki with interesting toppings but everything was tasty. Our guide was great, he was very knowledgeable about the area and clearly passionate about history. It did rain a little, and while the first part of the tour was through the covered arcade, the rest was through the uncovered streets so I'd suggest bringing umbrellas if there's a chance of rain! I felt like I got to discover a cute little area of Tokyo, definitely recommend!
Nice opportunity to experience various japanese street food (yakitori, toyaki, takoyaki, fried chicken, gyoza, and matcha tea). Everything were delishious, and Tigoshi-Ginza streen is a interesting place to walk. Thanks Olivier for being our friendly tour guide!
We went on this street food tour around Togoshi Ginza and our tour guide was Olivier Overall it was really good! We discovered new and unique places Tried traditional Japanese street food like takoyaki, yakitori, tayaki and many others I enjoined how our guide gave us interesting facts about each place and overall that district - Togoshi Ginza is very lovely to walk around Totally recommend!

Fantastic food, great guide Daisy showed us so many hidden gems! We enjoyed every one a lot and now have an entirely different understanding of Japanese street food culture. 10 out of five stars. Thanks a lot!
Brian was great. He was knowledgeable on Japanese history and food. We walked and sampled great food for two hours. Don’t eat before going as there was so many different delicious tastings. Going at the start of our holiday really helped also as we knew what we liked and how to order. Thank you Brian.
Makayla was absolutely great . Great food choices. Very personable and knowledgeable. Great host and tour guide .
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Daisy. She shared interesting information and took us to eight very different food stalls. The food was delicious and portion sizes were generous. Would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys trying a variety of Japanese street food.
