Melinda was an awesome guide! We really enjoyed the tour. It was interesting to see a different side of slo. thank you!
This is not a ghost tour or even a historical event. This is a random guy who did his own research from home and brags about it and boasts his ego the whole time. He was very rude to my partner and I, and gave no indication of being a professional what’s so ever. We were expecting a guide with enthusiasm for storytelling and a personality. As well as a guide with some experience with history, and could interact with guests and not have fake “spooky” moments where he would just try to sound convincing about something he did a quick Wikipedia rsearch on for 5 minutes. I wish I could get my money back, I left 10 minutes into the tour because we quickly felt uncomfortable and disappointed and didn’t want to waste our time.
Melinda was a wealth of knowledge! My parents, husband, and I had a lot of fun. She was able to answer any question and was genuinely interested in the stories of the tour. I've been visiting SLO for over 30 years and didn't know any of these stories. Great ghost tour for those who have never done one (like my parents) or those who seek them out in every city (like me and my husband).
Melinda had so much great information about SLO and the seedy past. Good ghost stories too. Such a fun time!
The tour is full of history, crime and a little gore. Our guide, Justice, was genuine in his interest and had really done his research. He was patient with our questions and knew the answers

The tour was great and a lot of fun. Melinda was very knowledgeable about the history of San Luis Obisbo and told some interesting stories. The only suggestion I have is to have the tour guide hold to identify themself as the tour guide.
Justice was a great guide and story teller. Loved his presentation and knowledge. Was cool to hear about Dan Luis Obispo and its history. Interesting people, who they were and what they did.
Our tour guide (Justice or Justin…I cannot remember) was amazing! At first it was just my boyfriend and I then another couple joined us. He was very knowledgeable and was a good mix of serious and funny. Safety was his utmost priority and he had amazing professionalism. He was able to answer all of our questions and elaborated more than what his “script” was due to his own research and experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that’s never been to SLO. This was a great night and was so fun. If you can request Justice I absolutely would
