Una passeggiata attraverso l'ex quartiere ebraico del XIV secolo, per conoscere l'architettura.
La Madrasa Ben Youssef, situata nel cuore della medina di Marrakech, è uno dei più grandi college islamici del Marocco. Fondata nel XIV secolo e ricostruita nel XVI secolo dai Saadiani, un tempo ospitava fino a 900 studenti. L'architettura è un capolavoro dell'arte islamica, con stucchi intagliati in modo intricato, legno di cedro scolpito e piastrelle colorate zellige. Un ampio cortile centrale con piscina riflettente esalta l'armonia del suo design. Simbolo di conoscenza e spiritualità, la madrasa riflette l'importanza storica dell'educazione religiosa in Marocco. Chiusa come scuola nel 1960, è oggi un monumento conservato aperto ai visitatori.
Il Giardino Segreto, situato nel cuore della medina di Marrakech, è un complesso di palazzi del XIX secolo splendidamente restaurato che mette in mostra l'arte tradizionale islamica e il design del giardino. Un tempo dimora di potenti sovrani qaid, presenta una vegetazione lussureggiante, fontane tranquille ed eleganti padiglioni. Diviso in giardini esotici e islamici, lo spazio offre una fuga pacifica dal caos della città. I visitatori possono esplorare la torre per viste panoramiche e conoscere i sistemi idraulici e l'architettura marocchina.
Entrate nell'incantevole Medina di Marrakech e vagate tra i suoi movimentati souk, dove la tradizione e l'artigianato prendono vita. I visitatori avranno la possibilità di scoprire laboratori nascosti: dalle cooperative di pelli e tessitori di tessuti ai gioiellieri, agli artigiani della lampada, fino al colorato mercato della tintura della lana. had a really great time on our tour with Ali. It was such a nice mix of culture, history, and local life. We loved visiting Le Jardin Secret and the beautiful Medersa Ben Youssef — both were truly impressive. Walking through the souks was a highlight, with all the colors, spices, and herbs. We learned so much about Moroccan oils and traditions in a very relaxed and enjoyable way. Ali made everything easy to understand and fun. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this tour!

Ali knows the city SO well. He had so much knowledge of history and was able to get us to the Bahia Palace and other destinations so quickly. We also got to skip several very long lines being with him which I'm sure saved us hours from our day. Would highly recommend! Marrakech is such a beautiful city and Ali will make sure you see the best parts!

Communication was great, not sure we got Ali and some questions about places not clearly answered. Somehow we didn’t visit Bahia palace on the tour so a bit disappointed on that. Loved being exposed to little known back streets of the medina

Abdul Ali is the best tour guide in Marrakech. I've been in tours all over the world and I could assure you that you won't find any one like him. He is fluent in at least 3 languages, very funny, kind, generous, modest and above all knowledge and intelligent. He will tell you the history in a narrative way full of wisdom and old sayings. I strongly recommend him for any guided tour.
That is Ali in the picture! He was our first exposure to Marrakech art, culture and history. We could not have asked for a more agreeable nor more knowledgeable guide! At first, it is a little overwhelming heading out through the maze that is the Souk on one's own. There are so many textures and colors to see, and so many and sounds and smells to stimulate the senses. We had so many questions and Ali knew how to answer all of them! He had personal stories to illuminate the tour and knew all the secret spots for spices, bread making, leather work, etc. In addition, he was very flexible and adapted the tour to our specific interests. He gave us time to absorb it all and did not rush us. It was a joy to walk with Ali and he took the time to make a personal connection with us. In fact, when he ran into us as we were looking for our excursion by a different company, he even helped us get connected with the other company. He certainly did not have to do that. This is what sets Ali apart. He truly cares about giving a good experience of Marrakech.

The best guide to show you around Marrakech and Mogador. Ali is professional, funny, spread good vibes, not the pushy type and masters english! We embarked in a journey filled with moroccan culture, history, beautiful stories, laughter, delicious food and a lot of shopping. As a native of the region, he showed us plenty of gems in the Old city. From magical gardens, to beautiful monuments, Ali's strong story telling transported us in time and place. We enjoyed the best orange juice in the world and had meals in some of the most authentic restaurants. And most importantly, we bought a lot of authentic dresses, decorations and gifts. We would strongly recommend him to all friends and family.

We had such a good time exploring the old town of Marrakech with Ali. We did this tour on our first day and he introduced us to this amazing town with it's lovely people. He made us feel welcome, explained with a lot of humour the culture of the place and showed us hidden gems, that we definitely wouldn't have found on our own. He really knows the place and it's history. The tour was fun and exciting and as additional bonus, we got some photos that Ali made during the trip. Ali was a great guide, I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. We had a fabulous day with Ali seeing a variety of sights around the city. His knowledge of moroccan history is extraordinary. We had an excellent introduction to the heart of the Medina and learned so much along the way. His presence helped us avoid hustlers and permitted us to see behind the scenes of Marrakesh lights.
