La Piazza della Repubblica (in serbo: Trg Republike) è una delle piazze centrali della città e un quartiere urbano di Belgrado. Le nostre guide introducono i turisti alla storia dei fenomeni di Josip Broz Tito, "testimone della staffetta giovanile", movimento dei non allineati, conflitti degli anni novanta, bombardamenti NATO di Serbia e Montenegro nel 1999 e cambiamenti democratici all'inizio del terzo millennio.
Dom Sindikata ("Trade Union Hall") è un edificio imponente, costruito nello stile del realismo socialista. Fu progettato da Branko Petričić e la costruzione iniziò nel 1947.
La Casa dell'Assemblea Nazionale della Repubblica di Serbia è la sede dell'Assemblea Nazionale della Serbia. L'edificio si trova in piazza Nikola Pašić nel centro di Belgrado ed è un punto di riferimento e un'attrazione turistica. Tra il suo completamento nel 1936 e il 2006, è stata la sede del Parlamento della Jugoslavia e del Parlamento di Serbia e Montenegro.
Kneza Miloša Street era il korzo (passeggiata) principale della città e oggi è una delle principali arterie di traffico della città, sede di alcune delle più importanti istituzioni nazionali e una strada con il maggior numero di ambasciate a Belgrado.
L'edificio del Ministero della Difesa jugoslavo, noto anche come Stato Maggiore Jugoslavo, è un edificio precedentemente occupato dal Ministero della Difesa della Jugoslavia, un dipartimento governativo responsabile della difesa della Repubblica Federale di Jugoslavia dalle minacce militari interne ed esterne. Considerato un capolavoro dell'architettura del dopoguerra, è stato bombardato e gravemente danneggiato durante i bombardamenti NATO della Jugoslavia nel 1999.
Dall'edificio Generalsab al Museo della Jugoslavia il gruppo prende il filobus (il viaggio dura circa 15 minuti). Il Museo della Jugoslavia è un museo di storia pubblica a Belgrado, la capitale della Serbia. Racconta il periodo del Regno di Jugoslavia e della Jugoslavia socialista, nonché la vita di Josip Broz Tito. La tomba di Tito si trova in uno degli edifici del museo (la Casa dei Fiori). Con 120.000 visitatori all'anno, è il museo più visitato in Serbia.

Milan (34) is an excellent guide who knew the answer to every question. His heart beats with the spirit of three former Yugoslav countries, and he experienced the war as a seven-year-old. Tears briefly came to my eyes in this situation. The tour with Milan lasted almost 4.5 hours and offered a great value for the price. The free public bus took us to the Yugoslavia Museum and back to the Parliament building and Hotel Moscow, where one can enjoy the Moscow sandwich and the ambiance in the café afterwards.

His historical knowledge is vast and comprehensive. Plus, his command of English language is impressive. We learned so much and Stefan has inspired us to dig deeper into this important topic. We were disappointed not to visit the other items on the itinerary, just the Museum of Yugoslavia, but it was otherwise very interesting. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and able to gear the tour towards our interests, which include more recent history of Yugoslavia. It was extremely cold (nothing anyone could do about that of course!) but we found standing in the outdoors for long periods was quite difficult.
Michael was very empassioned and knowledgeable! He brought the information to life. He was also knowledgeable about the transit system.
We took this tour our very first day in Belgrade. Nemenja was an extremely knowledgeable and engaging guide. He pointed out some great "off the beaten path" sites not related to the tour topic which was greatly appreciated. As a history professor, he was able to provide a lot of context about Serbian and Yugolavian history, and it set the perfect tone for our trip. While one could visit the Museum of Yugoslavia on one's own, going with Nemenja was a very useful value added to our trip.
The tour was over three hours long and great value for money. Milan was a superb guide who always gave a full answer to questions and has some great food recommendations as well

This tour contains a highly competent and sympathetic tour guide, interesting stops and lots of new things to learn. If you have very little knowledge about Yugoslavia, I would recommend this tour.
