Un imponente edificio situato su un'isola artificiale al largo della Corniche di Doha. Il museo è dedicato a riflettere la piena vitalità, complessità e diversità delle arti del mondo islamico. È un'istituzione collezionistica di livello mondiale, che conserva, studia ed espone capolavori che coprono 3 continenti e 13 secoli. L'edificio stesso è stato progettato dall'architetto di fama mondiale I. M. Pei, progettista della Piramide del Louvre a Parigi.
Una passeggiata lungo i vivaci vicoli di Souq Waqif offre un autentico assaggio del commercio tradizionale, dell'architettura e della cultura. Il labirinto di piccoli negozi offre una gamma abbagliante di mercanzie mediorientali dalle spezie e prelibatezze di stagione a profumi, gioielli, abbigliamento, artigianato e un tesoro di occasioni ricordo. Musica tradizionale, arte e spettacoli culturali aggiungono all'atmosfera di questo luogo speciale. TARIK Bhai the GOAT! He made our very very short trip a memorable one. Dessert safari was best highlight of Doha! City is great, but the dessert is a beauty in itself and Tarik brother really makes your experience wondersome. City points are good and he covered everything with us, but it was his family likr hospitality that tops our layover trip. Highly recommend this tour and most importantly ask for Tarik!

The tour to the desert was really great! We had a very great time. I would definitely recommend the tour. If someone tends to get nausea while driving, maybe take something beforehand, because you are already very shaken up. A very special thank you goes to our guide and driver Saad Ahmed. He is a great driver and told us a lot of interesting things about Qatar and we had all the great and fun conversations. Saad Ahmad is really a great guy. Thank you!

Had a full day seeing the city. Really enjoyed the Market and the Cultural Village. Desert Bashing was enjoyable, but truly enjoyed the views of the Gulf and the Dunes. Our guide, Abdul, made sure we had a great day in Qate!

Our family had the most incredible time on the desert safari, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing host, Asim. From the very start, he made sure we felt comfortable and excited for the adventure ahead. His friendly, engaging personality really set the tone for the day. The safari itself was breathtaking — Asim’s knowledge of the desert and its beauty added so much to the experience. Whether it was dune bashing, camel riding, or watching the sunset, Asim was right there with us, sharing fun facts and making sure everyone was having a blast. He went above and beyond to make the experience unique for our family, always ensuring we were comfortable and having fun.
