Itinerario

Amazing experience, Trong is an exceptional guide and is deeply passionate and knowledgeable about the local community. Breakfast and an exquisite lunch are included on the trip, as well as additional excursions. Drive was quick and scenic from Paris and pickup locations/dropouts are flexible. They work with you to make it most convenient. Absolutely would recommend. Champagne is also easily accessible in about 45 minutes from Paris using the fast train.
Overall we really enjoyed the whole day. Chong was knowledgeable, experienced and had a good rapport with his contacts in Champagne. He shared his knowledge of the region as he was local to the area, which gave a more person touch.
Champagne is an excellent destination, only 145 kilometers from Paris, 2 hours by car, 45 minutes by train. It is easy to visit the vineyards, the different houses for interesting tours and to taste and buy the products. The cathedral in Reims is magnificent!!
Excellent tour to the Champagne region visiting wineries and the lovely town of Reims. Our tour guide Trong was exceptional and went above and beyond to tell us about the region history, people and farming.
Our guide was super knowledgeable. He took us to a small family producer and a large champagne house. At the small champagne producer we tasted champagne, which could not he exported to the United States. Lunch began with an excellent champagne made from the grapes of our guide’s vineyard. Would definitely recommend this experience for anyone interested in spending a day in champagne!
This tour was a must do for me when I was in Paris. The champagne region is 140 km NE of Paris or 45 minutes by fast train. It is closer to Paris than Normandy and is very artisanal with lovely regional markets, farms, world-class wines, cheese, and even truffles. There is a lot to enjoy and explore, including the UNESCO listed Reims Cathederal. I was picked up and dropped off from my city apartment for the tour and shared a wonderful day (and lunch) with like minded travellers. Visiting the area also helps the local tourism industry and I would highly recommend doing it ( at least for one day)
This was an extremely interesting tour. Our driver Trong Nguyen picked me up from my apartment rental in Paris. He then handed out small bags of freshly made pastries and croissants to me and the other 4 people on the tour (along with hot coffee). The drive out to Champagne took a little under two hours. Our first stop of the day was in just one of the many hundreds of vineyards. Trong educated us on the growing, tending and harvesting of the grape vines - it takes around 2 years of training before you are allowed to work in the field. We then drove to a local champagne maker where we learned how the champagne was made, bottled, labelled and shipped - this also came with a complimentary tasting of three different champagnes I took a full day tour of Reims/Champagne on May 18, 2026. It was a really We then drove into Reims where we sat down for a mandatory two hour lunch - the entire City shuts down during this lunch period. Following lunch, we explored the Reims Cathedral where many of the French kings were crowned. The Cathedral itself was destroyed three times by the Germans - The Franco-Prussian war, WWI and WWII but has now been completed restored with private funds only. After visiting the Cathedral, we then drove to the Pommery Champagne House which features a champagne museum. We descended several hundred feet into the Caves (which run for miles underground). Pommery claims to store, 23,000,000 bottles of Champagne in its Cave. Following our visit to the Museum, we then have another champagne tasting before heading back to Paris arriving in Paris around 7:30 PM (just in time for dinner!). This was a very enjoyable and interesting day. I now feel that I have doubled my knowledge of champagne and have another 98% to go. Champagne is stunningly beautiful - vineyards stretching to the horizon. It is hard to imagine that this was on the frontlines of the trenches during WWI. I would highly recommend this tour. Sincerely, Peter S. Matorin
The Champagne region is beautiful and only 2 hours outside Paris. Our time was fun, full of interesting information with a wonderful knowledgeable host. They took care of everything.
Outstanding cultural experience for real Champagne lovers! Tour exceeded expectations - very personal and educational about the town of Champagne and surrounding area - unique experience!
This tour was stellar, and a must-do! It was great to get out of the hustle of the city and into the peacefulness of the countryside. Our tour guide, Trong , was an incredibly knowledgeable and gracious host. He brought us delicious baked goods from a local patisserie and coffee for the ride. Champagne is within easy reach of Paris, 140 km or 90 miles North East of Paris, 45 minutes by the fast train or 2 hours by car. It was a scenic ride, so it made the time go by fast. I loved seeing the vineyards and learning how the wine is made. Trong picked us all local flowers throughout the day, and we had a beautiful bouquet by the end of our tour. We visited two Champagne wineries, an amazing local women-run location where we sampled champagne that is not exported outside France, and then went to a fantastic export location that had an immersive tour. Our lunch was in the beautiful town of Reims, where the food was absolutely incredible. Kudos to the chef and his staff! We also got to tour the town and learn its history. My husband and I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. It was a highlight of our trip.
