Itinerario
Dopo un prelievo dal tuo hotel, residenza alle 9:00, il tour inizia con una visita al centro delle giraffe. Qui puoi vedere le magnifiche creature e scoprire perché sono in pericolo. imparerai anche i loro comportamenti, tratti e più educazione alla conservazione. Su richiesta, senza costi di trasporto aggiuntivi, siamo felici di portarti all'orfanotrofio degli elefanti (15 USD A PERSONA) per vedere i cuccioli di elefante che sono stati salvati. L'orfanotrofio degli elefanti accetta 200 persone al giorno e devi avvisarci per confermare la disponibilità con sufficiente anticipo.
Su richiesta, senza costi aggiuntivi, verrai condotto alla fabbrica di Kazuri Beads. Questa è un'azienda di ceramiche che produce una delle perle più belle del mondo. Ti verranno mostrate tutte le tappe dall'inizio alla fine. È anche una fabbrica unica in quanto impiega madri single del quartiere povero che si guadagnano da vivere per sostenere le loro famiglie. Dopo questo ti porteremo da qualche parte per pranzo e poi ti lasceremo.

This is a great half day tour if you don’t have a lot of time. The elephant centre is only open for one hour so it can be quite busy with people if you arrive early, don’t panic you will get in! Was great to hear about the work that they do for these orphans to prepare them to go back to the wild. We went to the giraffe centre first at 9am and it was quieter and just amazing to see these beautiful animals up close. We were on a tight schedule and David our guide was great.

I enjoyed feeding the giraffes at giraffe center, hearing the stories of all the animals at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and listening to the inspirational stories at the Bead Factory. Overall, it was an amazing experience and my tour guide Calvin was amazing.

This is a great place to visit and experience. You get to feed the giraffes and learn about the giraffes. Facilities are nice and although it seems it’s always busy it’s worth a visit

The staff were very knowledgeable. Our speaker gave my group a talk on the center and the giraffes. Feeding the giraffes was amazing and it was set up in a great structured manner.

After my tea plantation tour was cancelled due to the lockdown, the company made a suggestion to spend the day around Nairobi. Chris picked me up. What a fine young man he is! We went the the giraffe centre, beads factory and Karen museum. After that we had a great lunch. We drove via a slumb back to the hotel. Thank you for making a plan. I had a great day!!
