Thank you Jonathan!

Today I had my first safari experience. First of all, thank you to Jonathan for being such an amazing tour guide. Providing us with plenty of interesting facts and also his patience with all our questions. He made the experience very enjoyable! The gamedrive was very fun, we saw giraffes, antelopes, zebras, ostrich, rhinos, hippos and crocodiles. We got very close to some of them which was a great experience. We then visited the elephant sanctuary where we saw baby elephant, rhino and zebra orphans and were also given plenty of facts about each animal. We visited a local bead making factory and it was very interesting to see how local crafts are created and we thoroughly enjoyed the hukana matata welcome song. Finally we visited the giraffe sanctuary where we had the pleasure of feeding the giraffes Overall an amazing experience would definitely recommend and once again thank you Jonathan for making our time in Kenya an unforgettable experience!

Nairobi National Park, Elephant and Giraffe sanctuary

Nairobi National Park wasn't great to be fair but that may have been down to the time of year and our early start, so we didn't see that many animals, the highlight of the park was seeing the rhinos up close as we hadn't seen these at the Masi Maara. We all said that there should be a tour to just the elephant sanctuary and giraffe centre which wouldn't be such a long day, especially if you were going on a different safari tour (which we did). The elephant sanctuary and giraffe centre were amazing. You have an hour in the elephant sanctuary with added shopping time. It was amazing seeing and learning about how they look after and re-integrate the animals back into the wild and its not just elephants that they have there as there was a baby rhino and zebra also being looked after. There is no time-limit at the giraffe centre and you get given pellets of food so that you can feed them. It does get busy though so you will be getting barged whilst trying to feed the giraffes with a dozen other hands trying to do the same. Included in this tour was a visit to the Kobe Tough bead centre, where you learnt how the beads and ceramics are made and used to produce a variety of gifts.

A day to remember in Nairobi

What an amazing day we had today. The safari was INCREDIBLE, we saw lots of wildlife and the highlights being a very close up view of a huge crocodile and an equally close up view on 4 beautiful rhinos lounging by the lake. WOW 🤩 And of course the most important element is the people who guide you. Harrison is a world class wildlife expert whose passion and enthusiasm really made our day. Thank you to the team and I recommend this tour to anyone 🙏🏻👏🏻❤️

Poorly Managed Tour and Missed Itinerary

On July 30, I went on my scheduled tour, during which several incidents occurred that affected my experience: 1. The driver arrived 15 minutes late at the pickup point at the hotel 2. The car broke down during the first hour of the tour, and I spent an hour and a half waiting for another car to arrive so we could continue the tour. This caused me to miss the opportunity to see animals like lions, which can only be spotted in the early morning 3. We had to switch cars four times during the day. 4. The itinerary was completely changed, causing us to miss two stops, including Kobe and Cultiva Farms. 5. Due to all the issues with the itinerary, we didn’t get a chance to eat lunch until 4 p.m. In summary, the entire experience was significantly impacted, and the itinerary described in the booking was not followed, so I would like to request a partial refund for the booking I reported the situation in the chat we were using with the company on the same day, but I did not receive a response until five days later, when they offered me the opportunity to repeat the tour. However, by then I was no longer in Nairobi, so I was unable to benefit from this form of compensation.

The advertised and delivered service did not match

This was my second disappointing experience booking through TripAdvisor. Once again, what was advertised did not match what was delivered. The tour promised a 4x4 safari vehicle, but we were picked up in a Hiace van instead. We booked based on the advertised experience, so this was very disappointing. To make matters worse, TripAdvisor was unreachable before the tour, and our messages went unanswered. We were able to confirm our booking by calling viator customer service . After two similar experiences, we have lost confidence in booking through TripAdvisor and would not recommend it.

A great company to book with.

Great tour package. You should know that driving thru the National Park is bumpy and very dusty. Our driver Joel was awesome. Saw many kinds of animals.

I’m a travel planner, and...

I’m a travel planner, and I booked this tour for my clients. They loved the experience. They literally told me to make sure I rate them because the tour operators were wonderful. Thank you Niroskos Tours and Safaris.

Great way to immerse yourself in a safari experience without having to go on an actual Safari.

This was such an amazing experience. I was impressed with our mini safari. We saw an incredible amount of animals that was definitely unexpected. Also seeing how well the animals are treated at the elephant orphanage and the giraffe center is very heartening.b also getting to see how local artisans make the beads was an added extra. Jonathan our guide was entertaining and super thoughtful. He enriched our whole experience.

Great experience

We saw lions, cheetah, deers, rhinos, hippos, crocs and much more so national park was awesome. Orphanage was insightful and the work they do is amazing. Lastly it was fun feeding the giraffe and the work they do to conserve them is great.

Day Safari! Awesome Experience!

Where to start? We basically saw everything one would hope to see. Lions, rhinos, giraffes, monkeys, baboons, gazelles, warthogs, alligators, zebras… the only thing we didn’t see were hippos, but you’ll get no complaints from me. The elephants are a separate part of the tour, as they’re rescues, so you don’t see them in the wild (but you do get a neat experience). The giraffe center is nice, as you get up close & personal with the giraffes and get to feed them (be careful - they might headbutt your and/or steal the food - they have long tongues). There’s also a stop at a bead factory which was pretty interesting (it is locally owned & run by Kenyan women). Plenty of amazing hand made souvenirs if you’re so inclined. This is a long day, so keep that in mind. I was picked up at 5:30am and got back to my hotel around 4:00pm. We did stop for a local lunch that was quite good! If you don’t have time for a multi day safari, I recommend this day trip.
