Un luogo di lutto per i musulmani sciiti Costruito in memoria del martirio dell'Imam Hussein nel 1593 con l'alta qualità dei mosaici colorati dalla Persia, poi prosegui a piedi attraverso la visita di luoghi di importanza storica e religiosa visita a Naal Saab Mubarak - Mir Alam Mandi - Irani Galli - Barga- e- Panjeshan - Qadam -e-Rasool, Gulzar Houz o Char su - ka - Houz - Charminar .

Ashookhana nel mondo. Un luogo di lutto per i musulmani sciiti Costruito in memoria del martirio dell'Imam Hussein nel 1593 con l'alta qualità dei mosaici colorati dalla Persia Ashurkhana include siti come Niyaz Khana (luogo di offerte), Naqaar Khana (luogo di batteria), Sarai Khana's (luogo di riposo per i devoti) Abdar Khana (luogo di acqua potabile), Langar Khana (luogo di servizio del cibo), Makan-e-Mujawer ( Mujawer Residence), Daftar-e-Mujawer (ufficio Mujawer), Alawa Chabutra e Guardroom. L'Assur Khana si erge oggi con piastrelle smaltate che hanno mantenuto la loro lucentezza e colori vivaci anche dopo quattro secoli. L'intricato design in esagoni è squisito. fu costruito da Muhammed Quli Qutb Shah nel 1594, tre anni dopo la costruzione del Charminar. La decorazione a mosaico di piastrelle dai colori brillanti fu completata sotto Abdullah Qutab Shah nel 1611. Dopo la conquista moghul di Hyderabad, in una dimostrazione di settarismo sunnita, Aurangzeb usò l'ashurkhana come scuderia per i cavalli della cavalleria moghul.

Il Charminar (lett. 'quattro minareti') è un monumento situato a Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Costruito nel 1591, il punto di riferimento è un simbolo di Hyderabad e ufficialmente incorporato nell'emblema di Telangana. La lunga storia del Charminar comprende l'esistenza di una moschea all'ultimo piano da oltre 425 anni. Sebbene sia storicamente e religiosamente significativo, è anche noto per i suoi mercati locali popolari e affollati che circondano la struttura ed è diventata una delle attrazioni turistiche più frequentate di Hyderabad. I booked this tour as female solo traveller on a business trip, as I wanted to explore Hyderabad a bit, but did not feel comfortable to do so on my own. Mr Srinu is an amazing tour guide, extremely knowledgeable, polite and friendly. He also offered hotel pickup (for a fee), which I much appreciated. It is my first trip to India, so everything was a bit overwhelming - lots of people, noise, traffic - but I felt safe and had a great afternoon. Highly recommended!

Srinu was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of his city. I learnt so much about the Persian influence on Hyderabad over the past several centuries and how it reflects in the architecture of the city - Fascinating Srinu answered all my questions clearly. At the end of the tour he took us to his friends very busy cafe near Charminar where we got VIP service and tour of the kitchens. This cafe serves 14000 cups of tea per day. You have to see it to believe it. The cafe name is Nimrah cafe & bakery and the gracious host is Mr Aslam. Recommend you visit the cafe if you are near Charminar

Thanks for great explanation of all places. The guide is knowledgeable of the area. My recommendation to organiser is to provide timings in description of the event. To people who are booking this activity just know that Sunday evenings are busy, suggest to book morning times or weekdays for more peaceful experience.

The guide was very knowledgeable and despite a short duration of 2.5 hr, unexpectedly we learnt so much about the rich and peculiar history of hyderabad and South India, which was fascinating. He was very accommodating, thorough and hamble, excellent company and teacher to walk through the old city. We truly enjoyed the tour and would love to come back again for another tour.
