L'Old City Heritage Walk è un tour immersivo a piedi a Hyderabad che ti riporta indietro di 400 anni ai tempi dei sultani Qutb Shahi che costruirono la città e lasciarono un'eredità culturale duratura. Mentre camminiamo oltre le sontuose dimore e le moschee di un'epoca passata, rivivremo anche la vita e i tempi dei Nizam di Hyderabad in questo tour a piedi. La passeggiata inizia al famoso Charminar e termina al Chowmahalla Palace of the Nizam. La nostra azienda si impegna a rafforzare le comunità locali. Itinerario
Charminar è un monumento simbolico della città di Hyderabad. Fu costruito nel 1591 da Mohammed Quli Qutb Shahi, il quinto sultano della dinastia Qutub Shahi per commemorare la fine di un attacco mortale contro la città. La nostra guida ti affascinerà con leggende come la presenza di un tunnel segreto sotto Charminar che si collegava al Forte Golconda, creato come mezzo di fuga per la famiglia reale in momenti di difficoltà.
Visiteremo questo famoso bazar di strada per perle e braccialetti.
Successivamente andremo a piedi alla Mecca Masjid, una delle più antiche moschee dell'India. La prima pietra fu posta da Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah, il quinto sovrano della dinastia Qutub Shahi. I mattoni utilizzati per costruire la moschea sono stati ricavati dal terreno proveniente dalla Mecca! Questa magnifica moschea può ospitare oltre 10000 persone.
L'ultima tappa della nostra passeggiata ci porta a Choumahalla. È il Palazzo dei Nizam che una volta erano le persone più ricche del mondo. Alcune delle sezioni degne di nota di questo palazzo includono una fontana d'acqua, auto d'epoca, intricati intagli, lampadari di vetro e la grande sala durbar. Durante i tempi d'oro dei Nizam, ben 7000 assistenti erano soliti equipaggiare questo palazzo! La nostra guida ti darà un'idea della vita personale e politica di Nizams di Hyderabad. (Choumallah Palace è chiuso il venerdì. Se facciamo una passeggiata il venerdì, non lo visiteremo)

It was a great experience getting the feel of the old city from a very knowledgeable guide.

Shashi was incredible! She did a fantastic job telling me all about the history of hyderabad. She took me to all the spots (the markets, the masque, the center etc. She is a wonderful guide , 10/10 recommend shashi! She did a great tour showing the culture of hyderabad/india. Would highly recommend for further tours!

I had an amazing walking tour with Ms. Shashi. She is from Hyderabad and very knowledgeable. I really feel that I got to experience a little taste of Hyderabad culture. And Shashi is so sweet and a pleasure to spend time with. Don’t miss this tour when you’re in Hyderabad.
Our guide Sashi was very knowledgeable and made it a great day out for us walking in the old city. Make sure to go to Charminar in the early morning when there are no crowds and it is cooler. There is a great view from the top. Chowmahalla palace is well worth a visit with beautiful gardens and the mosque was very interesting too.
Had a lovely time learning about Hyderabad old town history with Ms. Shashi for the half day tour. The tour was well structured with a mix of history and experiences such as watching the making of bangles, trying milk tea and the Osmania cookies. Ms. Shashi is very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating in regards to start/end of the tour. Highly recommended, especially for solo female travelers.
Srinu was incredible and this was such a great day. He gave me a big rundown of the history of Hyderabad as we drove into town. Then we walked through the historic town and the palace as I learned more about the incredible influences in Hyderabad over hundreds of years. He was so knowledgeable and answered every question! Then, we went to a few shops where he showed me some of the coolest authentic craft & artisan work still being done in the region. Really really awesome - cannot recommend Srinu enough.
Great experience on this tour. I went with my husband who was visiting Hyderabad for the first time. We were able to book this quite easily, and the communication from the staff about timings, meeting points etc. was very efficient. On the tour, we were able to locate our guide, John, easily and he even waited 5 minutes for us very kindly as we were running late. The tour was very informative, followed a good route and we had enough time to take any photos. All in all great experience and would totally recommend 100%!
