Anna was very knowledgeable about Greek culture and the history of Greece and how it influenced the cuisine. All of the food was from local establishments that were not frequented by tourists which was appreciated. The Greek cuisine was amazing! There was two other couples with us and we did not finish the food provided at each stop. Recommend coming hungry and ready to eat! Additionally, there was toilets provided at all of the stops except one. Would highly recommend!
A great, very filling afternoon, experiencing the foods and local owners which make up Athens. Peggy was magnificent! Very informative, wonderful personality and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and included. We highly recommend Peggy and the amazing establishments she introduced us to.
We booked food tour through Viator and had good experience in the past. We were not disappointed. Our family had such an incredible time on this tour, and our tour guide, Anna was absolutely fantastic! She was super knowledgeable, engaging, and brought so much local insight and enthusiasm to the whole experience. You can tell she really loves what she does and genuinely cares about making sure everyone has a great time. She gave us awesome tips for the rest of our trip, too. Highly recommend booking a tour with Viator if you get the chance!

Easily a highlight of our time in Athens. Maria was AMAZING and the food was beyond delicious. A very fun way to explore the city and see Athens through its food. Come HUNGRY because you will eat!!

This is SO much more than a food tour. For sure you’ll eat ALL the food 😉but you’ll also get a feel for the day to day life of Athenians. Lovely! Tonia, our guide, was an absolute delight- she apparently knows everyone in Athens, so it was like touring with a good friend or family member. Relaxed pace, delicious food, and great company for the day!
Looking for a last minute activity in Athens and you LOVE food well this is the tour for you! I booked the night before and also received confirmation fairly quickly. I decided to go solo so was a tad nervous but my group was amazing…family of 4 and 1 other solo traveler and everyone was really sweet and personable which made the putting very enjoyable! Our tour guide Anna was amazing, very communicative about what we were eating, Greek culture, and kept our walking pace very leisurely. Just like in other reviews come very hungry because the food is copious! Highly recommend!
