Having a person in charge/coordinator (Ritmer) was very good, overseeing the trip. However, he and the guides share the info for the next day at the end of the day (10 pm e.g) but if you have to wake up at 3.30 am is not suitable. Some of the day guides were good (day trip and Machupicchu); the one to Ollantaytambo explained how the stones are cut and up you walk; the one to the seven colour mountains was pretty bad, came to pick us up 30 minutes earlier. I would also give the customers to choose the hotel: trip with or without hotel. The Danna Inn hostal is very basic and cold, their staff very kind though.

My recommendation is to book everything in advance; some tours were full. We did not have any issues with the altitude, but consider the climate and go with physical condition for hiking.
