Questo fantastico tour classico della città di Pechino che include sia la visita delle attrazioni più famose che alcuni piccoli vicoli storici. Inizierai la giornata passeggiando per Piazza Tian'anmen, dirigendoti verso la Città Proibita, esplorerai il Palazzo d'Estate e finirai la giornata andando al Tempio del Cielo. Successivamente, dirigiti verso la magnifica Città Proibita, il più grande palazzo imperiale del mondo. Trascorrerai un paio d'ore girovagando per questo straordinario esempio di architettura imperiale e imparando a conoscere la storia del palazzo. L'intero tour mattutino sarà di circa 2 ore.
Dopo pranzo, visiterai i vicoli classici e storici di Hutong in sella a un risciò. A Pechino, i hutong sono vicoli formati da file di siheyuan, residenze tradizionali nel cortile. Molti quartieri si sono formati unendo un siheyuan ad un altro per formare un hutong, e quindi unendo un hutong all'altro. La parola hutong è anche usata per riferirsi a tali quartieri. Alla fine, visiterai il Tempio del Paradiso, è un complesso imperiale di edifici religiosi situato nella parte sud-orientale del centro di Pechino. I did a tailor made two-day trip encompassing the square, forbidden city, summer palace, temple of heaven and the pearl market. We used public transport to make this affordable as I was travelling alone which worked well. Lunches were fabulous- good quality local restaurants and food chosen was tasty. This was a hot and busy time of year. The sights were great- the crowds less so. James was a great guide- plenty of information but not too much and brilliant at answering questions. My slight criticism is that it would have been better for the square/forbidden city and summer palace to have started the day earlier (and finished earlier). Catherine Lu Tours is a great and professional company and I wholeheartedly recommend them- I booked with them directly so I could include all the things I wanted to see, high meant I got to have the same guide in Beijing for 3 days.
Excellent tour in Beijing made by Catherine Tour Tour! It was 3 excellent days accompanied by the guide Iris who was wonderful, many professional and experienced! It was very professional and enlightening at all times! Besides all the main sights of Beijing we had food experiences too! Great I highly recommend!!
We absolutely loved this tour! Susi was amazing—knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly kind. She shared so much interesting information throughout the day and made the experience unforgettable. We had the best time exploring the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, and many other beautiful sites. The car was very comfortable, and the driver was courteous and friendly, which made the whole journey even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour!
My fabulous guide Mei, met me at my hotel and from there on it was an excellent experience with detailed knowledge of all the sites. The traditional tea ceremony was really good with tastings of five different teas then moved on for a wonderful “local” lunch.
